I am quite obviously biased, but I do sincerely think that we have some of the best Southern talent out there in our Blue Ribbon Vendor Directory! If you’re searching for vendors for your wedding day, I highly recommend you take a peek. Here are ten of our newest members!

5 Rings Photo takes an “honest and simple” approach to wedding photography and is based in Tennessee.

Bourbon and Bloom offers a blend of rustic heirlooms and polished décor to those who want to add a warm touch of charm to their wedding or special event in Central/Southeast Texas.

Cru Catering has been voted Charleston’s number one caterer for twelve years in a row. We have to agree, as they produced the most delicious and adorable eats for our V4 polo shoot! (Photo by A Bryan Photo)

Dixie Pixel believes in letting moments happen rather than forcing them, and that all weddings are beautiful, no matter the budget. Tara is located just outside the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.

Geomyra Lewis would love the chance to help you tell your love story. She is a wedding planner based in Virginia.

J Morgan Flowers is one of South Florida’s most sought after and respected floral and design studios. An event designed by Jacqueline and her passionate team is a blend of charm infused with the personality of the couple. (Photos above by Jessica Lorren, another Blue Ribbon Vendor!)

The Monaco Alexandria is a luxury boutique hotel in Old Town Alexandria.

As your photographer, Nancy Ray hopes to give you an experience you will never forget and to show you how beautiful your love truly is. She is based in North Carolina.

Taylor Lord thinks of natural light, photojournalism, and fine art as the three main ingredients in her photography. She is based in Austin, Texas.

Tie That Binds is a full-service boutique print and design shop with a true passion for weddings.

Happy Friday, my dears! Today we have the pleasure of giving you a peek at the Spring 2012 collection from one of our favorite bridal designers, Watters! We’re especially fond of them because they’re based in Texas :) We know y’all are fond of them, too, as we’ve featured Watters gowns in real weddings here and here — just to name a VERY few!

We thought it would be fun to share with you each of our favorite picks from the new line. Read on for why the Southern Weddings gals love these particular styles!

The Watters Brides dresses are defined this season by classic shapes, unique detailing (fresh water and mother pearl beading is one of our favorites!), and breezy construction.

We love that for the Watters Bridesmaids line, the designers focused on building groupings that are designed to make a complete party — not necessarily all different dresses, and not necessarily matchy-matchy. Seems just right for where we are now, doesn’t it?

For WToo, Watters sister bridal line, the new collection is described as “ultra feminine.” I think some of you Southern belles can get on that train!

The colors for the WToo bridesmaid line are just gorgeous — everything from amethyst, to citrine, to charcoal.

You can see all of the Watters collections at their website! Ladies, we’d love to hear from you — which is your favorite gown? Are any of y’all wearing a Watters gown at your wedding? Comment below and let us know!

An excuse to flip through wedding gowns and pick a favorite? Don’t mind if I do :) I think my pick would be Swan…the back is to die for!

  3. avatar Kelsey reply

I love the Grace style! In your V4, in one of the first few pages of the book, you had a similar gown except it had a deep lace V in the back too–do you know which dress that was? I’m obsessed and can’t find it anywhere!

    • avatar Emily reply

Hi Kelsey! That’s actually a dress by Heidi Elnora! I hope that helps!

  4. avatar MacKenzie reply

Emily, I’m SO with you on the pink dress. I love this dress so much and if I got to marry Philip again tomorrow, this would be my pick!

  5. avatar Paige Dohoney reply

I am wearing the Watters Alexandra gown on my big day in September!! Cannot wait!!
