The team at Nancy Ray Photography is filled with excitement and joy every time we get to photograph a wedding. We realize that the moments we capture are the very first records of a marriage, a heritage, a new family tree. These are the moments that will be passed down from generation to generation – all in the form of photographs. It is our privilege to know that when we are long gone, our photographs will live for generations to come in many homes of many families. Our hope is to give you an experience you will never forget and to show you how beautiful your love truly is!

Things you’d write home to your Momma about: My (Nancy’s) proudest moments are when I hear from a bride after her wedding day, saying that she and her husband cried when viewing their wedding photos for the first time. Honestly, there’s nothing more rewarding than that! A few other accomplishments I’m proud of: Having editorial features in V5 and V6. What an honor it is to see my work in the loveliest of wedding magazines!
Location/coverage: Based in Raleigh, NC. Serving the Southeast.
How I got into weddings: I fell in love with wedding photography when I was 16 years old, as the maid of honor in my big sister’s wedding.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? Biscuits and Southern gentlemen!
Favorite part of a wedding day? The exit. It is full of excitement and joy! Most importantly, it’s the moment the couple begins life together. I love that the end of a wedding marks the beginning of a life lived together.
