Where you call home: North Carolina and Florida
Things you’d write home to your Momma about: I am pretty proud of having studied and graduated from two great Southern institutions: the University of Virginia and the Washington School of Photography. But most of all, the thing that makes my butter melt is to become friends with all my brides and grooms and to be a part of their wedding day.
Location/coverage: North Carolina, Florida and worldwide.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? My favorite thing about weddings in the South is the people! They know how to have a great time and really incorporate their personalities into their weddings.
Favorite part of a wedding day? My favorite moments are the ones that I get to spend photographing the bride and groom alone after the ceremony. I feel so fortunate to experience this unique time that is uninterrupted from guests, family and bridal parties. It allows me to capture the bride and groom’s expressions of their love.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Have fun and be yourselves!
Dream travel destination? Ireland or Iceland – I would love to go back to New Zealand too!
Favorite Southern city? Anywhere on a back road.
