Category: Sponsor Love

In the midst of the craziness that is the last week and a half of preparing our November issue to be sent to the printers (yay!), we had to pause to highlight a few more of our fabulous sponsors.  As we’ve been putting this issue together, we’ve been reminded over and over again how wonderful, generous, and talented these partners are, and we’re bursting at the seams with pride to share them with y’all!

A Delightful Day Event Planning is a boutique event planning firm specializing in weddings & social events for the middle Tennessee/Nashville Metro area. Their fun and fab team really knows how to show a southern bride and groom a good time!  We love their attention to detail and fresh take on southern weddings.  They have a delightful (pun intended) blog and website.  How great are these ribbon pillows?!

“Brett and Julie are too incredibly fun and super cool photographers who are addicted to road trips, coffee shops, and each other.”  This from Birdsong Photography’s website, but we couldn’t have said it better ourselves (we would, however, add that they are funny as well as fun, and take lovely photos to boot).  Check out their hilarious blog here and their tweets here.

Asheville Events, a full-service event planning firm based in (you guessed it) Asheville, specializes in eco-friendly planning and creative design.  Owners Becca and Melissa are fabulous at what they do and pride themselves on utilizing their extensive knowledge of Western North Carolina to match you with the very best vendors for your event.  Check out their website here, their blog here, and their tweets here.  P.S. I am LOVING those blueberry boutonnieres!

High style and high fashion is what Ashley Colhouer does best.  Ashley is based in Atlanta, and does a great job of transposing her commercial sensibility to the weddings she shoots.  Want to feel like a rockstar on your wedding day?  Check out her site for more information here.

Betsy White is one of our editor-in-chief’s favorite websites.  Owner Gia Graham creates some of the most beautiful invites we’ve seen- simple, unique, modern and fresh.  Our favorite part about Betsy White?  Flights of Fancy!  Gia’s blog is to-die-for incredible, packed to the max with fabulous wedding inspiration.  We just can’t get enough!  Not sure where to start?  Try browsing through her inspiration boardsOh my!  A recent favorite:

Kristy at Momental Designs is one of our favorite people in the wedding world!  Kind, wildly creative, warm, giving, beautiful in and out… what’s not to love!?  Her hand-painted invitations are always a hit with brides.  If you want something truly unique for your wedding, Kristy and her team will create it!  Her fantastic blog gives readers an inside peek into her studio.  We love Kristy!  P.S. Be sure to see the sneak peek of her work in our upcoming print edition here from Jory Cordy.

Western North Carolina-based photographer Regina Holder is as lovely as she is talented.  Regina describes her style as “artistic storytelling,” and she excels at the blend of photojournalism and editorial portraiture that so many brides are looking for today.  Check out her site here and her blog here.

Scarlett Lillian has a style like no other- glamorous, colorful, vibrant and fresh!  She is known for making her brides feel like movie stars and always delivers that experience to her clients.  You can find all the latest from Ms. Lillian on her fab blog, website, and twitter!

A little Scarlett fun from our premiere party in Atlanta:

From Scarlett: Ginger and I headed to Atlanta for a last minute spontaneous road trip to attend the Southern Weddings magazine launch party! It was so great to finally meet the publisher Lara and the other SW belles of the ball. Lara is as beautiful of a person as she is in her profile pic, and I’m so excited for her to see what a hit this magazine has been for her and the girls. If you are a bride, you must pick up this new magazine, it’s a must have and such wedding eye candy! It was so great to meet so many other photographers and wedding planners in the Southeast. Here’s a few pics I grabbed of the night! (ABOVE) [Me] goofing off with my favorite divas Katasha of K Sherrie+Company, Terrica of Fabuluxe Events and Latrice of Bridal Opulence. Then sassy faces with Lara and Ginger, and a quick shot with the hotties of A Bryan Photo.

Again, a huge, warm, SW thank you from all of us here in the office.  We couldn’t do what we do without these lovely friends, and even more than that, we really believe in their work and want to share it with you.  We hope you’ll take a moment to visit their sites and send them a little SW love!

If you want to get in on the SW sponsor love fest email Katharine for a fall edition media kit [katharine at iloveswmag dot com].  She’ll be delighted to hear from you!

P.S. Just one week left to reserve your November print edition ad!  They are only a few left, so hop like a bunny over to Katharine’s inbox right… now!
