Have y’all been waiting for this day? We’ve had some pretty amazing giveaways on the blog in the last few weeks and I’m just dying to tell y’all who’s won!

We asked you to tell us how you and your sweetie’s personalities match so wonderfully for the chance to win 100 folded cards from Ashley Brooke Designs Tailored Wedding Collection (including one pet!)

Congratulations to our winner, Carolyn, who said, “My fiance and I are such a good match! My strengths and weaknesses are different than his so we support each other, in good times and bad. We make each other smile!”

We wanted to help you find the perfect bridesmaid gift, so we asked you to tell us about your favorite memory with one (or all) of your bridesmaids for the chance to win up to six Nico and Lala Monogrammed Picture Frames for the gals in your bridal party.

Yahoo! Winner, Brittany T, said, “I have so many memories I don’t even know where to begin. My sister is my MOH and of course, growing up there are thousands to pick from. Half are college sorority sisters and the other half are girls I went to high school with. Along the years, they’ve all seen me at my best and my worst. My favorite memory that involves all of them is asking each one to be a part of my wedding. I gave them each a bottle of wine that I made my own label for. It read “I found a man, but I still need my girls! Will you be my bridesmaid?” Along with a cute poem on the back. As much as my girls love to drink wine, they’ve all kept them as special keepsakes.”

In celebration of Amanda Judge’s newly launched collection, we asked you to tell us what your favorite bridal sash design is for the chance to win any Amanda Judge sash up to a $150 value to dress up your party frock.

Congrats to Bre, who said, “I LOVE the Cecilia! It would perfect with my dress :)”

Now we know y’all have been eagerly awaiting the results of our fantastic Maile Lani photography giveaway! We counted up over a thousand votes and are thrilled to announce the winners of our giveaway!

Biggest congratulations go out to Taylor + Zach!! We can’t wait to see your beautiful wedding! And thanks to all y’all who voted!

Last but not least, let’s give a huge congrats to Michelle W., Kathleen, and Jill S. who won our Lilly Pulitzer giveaway!

Didn’t win this time? No worries, we’ve got more fun giveaways coming up!

Hey, y’all! I just got back from New York City, where I was reveling in one of my favorite weeks of the year – the week of the National Stationery Show!! For four days, stationers and designers big and small converge on a massive convention center in Manhattan. They set up adorable booths displaying their best and newest designs, and then buyers (from both online and brick and mortar stores) and members of the press (like me!) walk the floor checking everything out. It’s bliss, I tell you!

I did my best to capture the gloriousness with my iPhone and tweets in the moment, but thankfully photographer Cyn Kain was at my side doing what she does best. Her photos showcase the beautiful designs far better than mine ever could!

We’ve got a lot to cover, so let’s get started!

Our first booth of the day – Jan Sevadjian! I was all tingly with excitement at this point. Jan makes beautiful silk-wrapped photo albums and keepsake boxes that would be perfect for the classic bride.

The Macbeth Collection is a preppy’s paradise – for real, y’all. There pattern play is amazing, and I loved all the monogrammed goodness! Marissa tweeted that she hoped I would sneak one of the bins out for her, and I would have, if only I thought it would have fit under my shirt. Maybe next time? And how perfect would these be holding ceremony programs, or cold drinks at the reception, or given as bridesmaid gifts? Perfectly perfect.

There was so much fun ephemera – most of it glittery – at Tinsel Trading. I particularly loved the glitter letters (which would be so cute used in chair back decor, like at this wedding) and the cheerful ceremony or exit flags.

Cyn and I both loved these romantic heart-shaped cards from Oblation Papers & Press. Such beautiful letterpress!

Oh my! Next up was the Lifeguard Press booth, home of the one and only Lilly Pulitzer. It was almost too much pink to handle! (But not really, I totally loved it :) We didn’t snap a pic of them, but there were the most adorable patterned iPhone cases on display!

I loved the design of Smudge Ink’s booth, and I enjoyed looking through their new wedding albums, too. Their gift wrap and cards were adorable! (Photo on the bottom left nabbed from Nole of Oh So Beautiful Paper!)

Thank you so much to Cyn for these great photos! I’ll be back with much more soon!

Cyn Kain is a fabulous member of our Blue Ribbon Vendor Directory!

I would love to go to the NSS one day. Emily, I love your tunic. Is it Boden?

All of the booths look like such fun! I am currently on the hunt for horse racing/keeneland themed invites, do you ladies have any suggestions on where I might be able to find or design something along those lines?

    Thanks!

Hi Mary Kate! I didn’t spot anything ready-made at the show that fits what you’re looking for, but my best advice would be to get in touch with Belle & Union (coming up in my recaps next week!). They have an amazing Southern sensibility, and I’m sure they’d design something you’d love!

Thanks for sharing! The Macbeth Collection is my favorite! I love, love all of their stuff. I have the utensil holder that I have used to hold my pens at work for the last six years. I always get so many compliments on it.

Paper Pick :: YEE-HAW Industries

by in Personal on

Howdy, ladies + gents! I’m breaking out my Southern vocabulary for this week’s Paper Pick because they’re about as down-home as you can get, starting with their name: that’s right, it’s YEE-HAW Industries!

But first, I wanted to announce the winners of last week’s giveaway. Sydney will be taking home the cake garland, and Sara, the peppy topper set, both from Potter and Butler! Y’all will be receiving an email from me soon. Thanks for playing!

But back to YEE-HAW! My favorite product in their shop is their “giant postcard signs.” They come with the cutest phrases, including one of Lara’s favorites:

I see these pieces connected to weddings in two ways. First, they’d make an adorable choice for the card your ‘maids deliver to your betrothed the morning of your wedding, filled with inside jokes and love for the ceremony you’re about to have :) This one would be perfect for that:

The second use would be as a photo prop, but clearly some couples have already beaten me to the punch!

See the rest of this too-cute Memphis wedding by Heidi Ryder on Style Me Pretty! In the meantime, when wedding planning gets touch, don’t forget…

You can find YEE-HAW Industries pieces on their Etsy site here and their website here. If you’re in the area, you can also drop by their Knoxville retail location!

Until next time!

Thanks for featuring my wedding! I’m so in love with Yee-Haw’s stuff. I ended up framing that card and hanging it in our bedroom.
