Exciting things are happening over here in the Southern Weddings office, y’all! The gorgeous images that have been flowing into our office from completed shoots are being placed on the page (after much agonizing over which photos to choose!), we just completed our final two shoots for V5, and, oh yes, I’m getting married in less than two weeks!! (Okay, so that last one is not exactly SW related, but I had to throw it in there!)

With our excitement about V5 just about boiling over, we decided it was high time to release the digital edition of V4, our 2011 issue. Of course, you can still pick up a copy right here (though I will warn you supplies are dwindling!), but now, you can see the whole shebang online, as well! Click here to see the complete digital edition of Southern Weddings V4!

Before V5 steals the spotlight, we wanted to share our favorite features one more time, especially for those of y’all who might not have been around when V4 debuted. Be sure to check out all of these spreads and more in the editorial gallery!

Marissa, our Southern fashion fiend, chose the Paper, Cotton, and Flour shoot. She has great memories of the shoot day, and loved how everything turned out! She also was (understandably) enamored with the seersucker dress!

Joey and Jessica

Nicole, our lover of bright color, chose the “punch shoot” (as we like to call it) for her favorite. I love that she said she almost stuck it on her bulletin board, but couldn’t bear to tear it out!

Braedon Photography

Lara opined that it was “SO hard to choose a favorite” (true), but eventually settled on the Williamsburg shoot. The said the image of the peanut poppers is one of her favorite Southern Weddings images ever, which is high praise from the woman who’s seen every Southern Weddings image there is!

Katie Stoops

Finally, I chose our South Carolina polo shoot as my favorite. It makes my heart happy every time I see those bold green and white striped skirts show up on Pinterest or another site! (And trust me, they’ve shown up everywhere — we haven’t done a scientific study, but if I had to guess, I would say that was the most popular image from all of V4!)

A Bryan Photo

Gorgeous, all of them! And before you go, just a final note to add that we are thisclose to being sold out of print ads for V5 (whoo!). To finish us off in grand style, we’ve decided to offer a bonafide piece of V4 memorabilia — a perfectly patterned bow tie — to the first five vendors/companies to book their print ad! Get in touch with Marissa (marissa at iloveswmag.com) to reserve your spot ASAP!

Love it! We used Life Stage as well because Matt is an acquaintance of mine from high school. We were blown away by our video, and we still watch it well after our wedding. It gets us every time! I love their work!

Hi friends! It’s been a particularly beautiful week here on Southern Weddings, hasn’t it? So many pretty real weddings! We’ll very rarely break up the weddings with a styled shoot, but this one… well, I couldn’t resist. The field setting is absolutely picturesque, and the idea of a quiet brunch for two is downright dreamy!

Ready to dream a bit? Let’s start with the gold + sparkly invitations by Taylor Rae.

Wow wow wow! Wouldn’t it be amazing to meet up with your fiance at a spot like this on the morning of your wedding? It could be such a special time to calm each other down (and get excited!), maybe exchange presents or letters, and have something to eat. Kind of like this breakfast surprise!

All of these beautiful pink, peach, and gold details were brought together by Anna of A.Styled Event. Didn’t she do an amazing job? The loose + natural florals are by Evolutions in Design.

Now hold up a minute. How adorable is this couple?? I adore her short dress, peachy necklace, and little birdcage veil by Jaxie. Better yet? These two are married lovebirds in real life! Anna served as both stylist AND model for this shoot!

Perfection! Thank you SO much to Kelsy + Butch of The McCartneys for sharing their exquisite (seriously, exquisite!) photos of this happy occasion with us!
