Our next delightful entry comes from Palm Papers and Catie Ronquillo. What could be sweeter or more Southern than a sweet tea favor? I like the simplicity of this idea, and I also like their suggestion of stacking for an easy, inexpensive, multipurpose centerpiece. Check below for all of the details!
From Catie:
“This submission is a collaboration between Lauren of Palm Papers and myself – we came up with a Sweet Tea Kit in a Mason Jar!” To assemble, simply fill each mason jar with a few sugar cubes, Lipton tea bags, and one small lemon (or other colorful fruit). Wrap each jar with a little baker’s twine (we love Divine Twine) and a small gift tag, and then give to guests as a sweet favor, or display on table tops as centerpieces or as part of the place setting to add a pop of color to your decor!”
Thank you so much, ladies! Readers, if you love this idea, be sure to let us know in the comments! And remember, you’re welcome to vote for more than one concept!

Love this idea! Perfect for summer wedding!
I’ve been on the search for the perfect southern touch for my winter wedding. Even though this has summer written all over if, I think I may still use it. I drink sweet tea year-round, why shouldn’t my guests?! :)
Love it! So Southern! Pretty, yet practical.
Most ADORABLE idea – especially for a southern gal wedding…so unique and original! Love!
Woo hoo! Thanks y’all! We loved putting this together – a little something different, yet oh so southern!
LOVE this idea!! It’s sooo cute and easy to do and I bet the guests will talk about it long after the wedding!
Such a cute idea! I love it! Of course, (southern) sweet tea goes straight to the heart for me.
Hard choice in terms of my favorite use of a mason jar (being a HUGE fan of red velvet cake) but I’ve decided this one is my top choice because I like the idea that I could take this home and make myself a yummy jar full of tea from it – there’s just something about DIY projects that brings out the kid in me :-) There’s something wonderfully tactile about that nice texture-y lemon and those grainy sugar cubes too. It’s like having a little bit of summer captured in a jar!
I love this idea. Here in GA we are all about our sweet tea. I may have to use this idea when I get married.
Wow!

I LOVE this idea and will totally be using it for my wedding favors! do you have any print outs for the “take home some sweet tea”?
Hello!! I love this idea. I am looking at using this idea for a bridal shower favor. Based on the picture I only see one tea bag, so you only use one tea bag for the recipe. Thank you for your help. Its an awesome idea!

hi there- i was wondering where did you get your tags printed? thanks, katie
Did you ever find out where the tags were printed out from?
I love this idea! I’m creating them for my friends baby shower favors! I’ve never made sweet tea before so do you leave the fruit whole even when putting the water in?
I look forward to hearing from anyone who can give me some pointers? Thanks!
