Pink peony’s have become one of my favorite flowers along with Plumerias and Hibiscus. They are just beautiful and romantic.

Today’s Southern Spotting is a gorgeous gardenia bouquet!

To me, gardenias are one of the most quintessentially Southern blooms, and they’re one of the prettiest flowers to feature in a bouquet, too. I love that Lauren paired the more structured gardenia with loose and lovely peonies!

Lauren’s hair and makeup was done by Kymm McLean, and these lovely photos were taken at the Duke Mansion in Charlotte. BIG thanks to Leslie and Matt from Elizabeth Scott Photography for letting us feature their work! You can see even more from this pretty session on their blog.
