Google+ Southern Spotting :: Monogrammed Flower Girls - Southern Weddings

Southern Weddings

It’s a well-known fact that a true Southern girl has the urge to monogram everything possible, and we’ve certainly seen a LOT of monogrammed lovelies in our time: bouquet wraps, garters, insides of wedding gowns, handkerchiefs… I could go on. But never have I seen monogrammed flower girls!

Says Betsy, the bride:

“Our wedding included lots of monogrammed details. I wanted to make sure the flower girls had something that was personalized and special and thought that monogramming the tails of their sashes would be the perfect touch. I was thrilled with the way this detail turned out and think the overall look is just as sweet as the flower girls themselves!”

We couldn’t agree more, Betsy! This is such a simple detail to pull off, too — just look for a local embroidery shop. Monogramming the sashes should be no problem, and should run you between $10-$15 each.

LOVE this! I plan to monogram my fiance’s initials on the bottom edge of the sash I am wearing for the ceremony in a pretty light blue. Shhhh! It’s a suprise. :) I thought it would be something special as well as my “something blue”. I am a huge fan of al things monogrammed.

All three of my flower girls had their sashes monogrammed – it turned out adorable! What I love about it too, is that it is now a keepsake for them to have forever!
