Yes, we’re back with one last Bridal Market post! If you haven’t been keeping up on the blog, be sure to take a gander at all the previous posts. It’s one pretty page after another!

Let’s start with Miss Kelly Faetanini. Isn’t her purple peplum outfit adorable?

Okay, onto dresses! Kelly’s collection was what I like to call wearable fashion forward. Each gown had on-point style trends without being too risky for real brides to try on their wedding days.

I love the layered lace peplum of this tulle ball gown, and the best part… it’s removable! How clever is Kelly? What a fun way to wear the trend, but have the option for a more classic tulle ball gown look. I also adore the bustle in the front of the dress on the bottom left. This fit-to-flare gown is made of silk santung. Fancy!

Oh, and this finale! My oh my! Kristin and I literally gasped when this gown came down the runway. The simple silk satin fit-to-flare is accented perfectly with a lilac ombre-feathered skirt. Talk about wow factor! After the show, we couldn’t stop talking about those ombre feathers!

Now let’s talk glam! Matthew Christopher’s 2013 Couture collection was all about glamourous red carpet-esque gowns, and I’m all about that!

Classic silhouettes with luxe details gave the MC collection a sophisticated feel. Opulent silk satin was mixed with raw-edged organza flowers to combine into romantic pieces. My favorite has to be the Toujour L’Amour (on the bottom right) — this gown was inspired by cathedrals, and features a silk duchess bodice wrapped in elaborate beading, raw edge ruffles and crystals and pearls in a heart-shaped motif. Tres chic!

In between shows we were thrilled to be able to shoot a little Street Style session with our awesome photographer Kat Harris! She even snagged these behind-the-scenes shots of us running between shows. Yes, I am totally into my iPhone in both shots – either tweeting, or more likely trying to map out directions to the next show!

Isn’t Kristin adorable? That girl has sass! I’ll let you in on a little secret: this is my favorite outfit, and I wanted to wear it the entire trip! (I didn’t, though!)

Kat asked us to do our serious face. Well, you see how long that lasted! Want to know a little more about our outfits? Check out Kat’s blog! She featured US in her Refined Woman series. We’re so honored!

Thanks again to Kat for all of these images!

But wait, have you STILL not had enough Bridal Market 2012 goodness yet? Be sure to check out our designated board for all of this year’s styles, and set aside some time to watch the videos our friends at Lover.ly put together! The one for Anne Barge’s show is below, but you can see more designers here!

Marissa and Kristen—Hey sweet girls! Thought you’d like to know that even almost a year later I keep coming back to this post for reference because I recently found out I will be attending bridal market with my new position! I am so excited and am already trying to plan outfits based off the cuteness that y’all sported last fall! Thanks for continuing to be a source of inspiration….through planning, wardrobe styling, travel plans and the like! :)

Welcome to the last entry in our Bridal Market coverage. Even though our fun must come to an end, we’ve got quite the finale for you!

After hitting the Piers and seeing new and old friends alike, we stopped for a quick pick-me-up at Eleni’s in the MeatPacking District on the way to our meeting at Gabriella New York. When you have a fabulous photographer in cahoots with you, it’s hard not to stop for an impromptu photo shoot! Thanks, Trent!

Visiting the Gabriella New York Bridal Salon was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Not only was Gabriella a complete doll and her staff sweet as pie, but her salon was filled with the most gorgeous gowns and bridal accessories.

One particular lovely caught my eye as soon as we walked in – the amazing “Addison” from Marchesa. Gabriella was kind enough to let me try it on and let me tell you I literally died! Whitney fell for this stunning Sassi Holford and I think her first time in a wedding dress might have been her best! BIG huge thank you hugs to Gabriella and her team for making this MAJOR fashion moment happen!

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end our Bridal Market whirlwind then with the Romona Keveza Legends show. Romona herself sat in a large comfy chair and described each dress as smiling models twirled around a gorgeous suite at the St. Regis. Fashion heaven! We were so thrilled to be a part of her last Market show and to have chatted with her after. I especially loved the lace-edged cathedral length veils and that her collection was inspired by real brides everywhere.

Whitney and I hope that you enjoyed following along with our adventures in the city that never sleeps! We are so grateful to have been able to take y’all along for the ride! Special thanks to our amazing Editor in Chief Lara for being such an awesome boss and to our fabulous photographer Trent Bailey! Whitney, you we’re a fabulous partner in crime and I can’t wait for next year already!

Which designer is your favorite? Who will you be wearing on your big day?

Hello, my pretties! Can you believe how jam-packed our schedule was? We fit as many gorgeous gowns and fabulous friends (new and old) into our three days in the city as possible. It’s certainly making my head whirl!

Marissa and I began day three in Judd Waddell’s beautiful showroom. This collection was most definitely a favorite of mine. I was swooning over the rows of tiny buttons up the backs of many of the designs. Each dress was simple, timeless, and utterly perfect for Southern brides. It was wonderful to chat with Judd after the showing. He’s quite the gentleman!

We spent much of Monday morning jumping from booth to booth at the Piers. Marissa and I were overwhelmed by the hundreds of fabulous designers there. While we didn’t have time to stop by every booth (if only!), it was wonderful to see some familiar faces and make new friends.

We ran into the gorgeous and super trendy Lindsie at Haute Bride and I was so tempted to try on all of her fabulous beads and baubles. We also said a quick hello to Coren Moore, whose lovely ad is featured in Southern Weddings V4.

One of the best surprise finds of the day were Veronica Sheaffer’s stunning gowns. Her newest collection is inspired by weathered white-washed fences. You can’t get much more Southern than that!

After many a tweet back and forth, we finally met up with SW favorite Kristy Rice of Momental Designs. What’s that she’s holding? Only a copy of Southern Weddings V4!

While at the Piers, we had the opportunity to squeeze into the Watters show. The Watters collection featured fun veils and beautiful gowns (of course). I fell in love with these printed bridesmaid dresses. Wouldn’t they be perfect for a garden wedding?

Before we left the Piers, we made sure to stop by and chat with the lovely ladies at Ivy + Aster. They are sweet as sugar and cute to boot!

Who took these fabulous photos? Mr. Trent Bailey, of course!

Be sure to drop back in this afternoon for the very last part of our Bridal Market adventure. Believe me, you won’t want to miss it. Want a hint for what’s ahead? Marissa and I may have had a chance to play dress-up. Just wait till you see what we got to try on!

Is this not the Amsale Dahlia? I mean, it’s almost an identical copy! I think Amsale has a lawsuit to pursue – for realz!

I’ve looked all over for the 1st dress in this post! the one with the boatneck collar and lace back that buttons. I’m probably the only girl in the world like this – but it’s seriously one of 3 wedding dresses that I’ve ever seen that I like. Can someone point me in the right direction? I looked at Judd’s collection, but didn’t see it. help! :) and thank you!

    • avatar Emily reply

Hi Rebecca! Since these dresses are from collections that haven’t debuted in stores yet, you wouldn’t find these styles on websites yet, either. Look for that beauty in spring 2012!
