Hey, y’all! It’s Marissa, back with more wedding goodness from Bridal Market 2010. Oh, Amsale, how I adore thee! Clean, classic and oh-so Southern details, including large satin bows and super fun party dresses! (I’ll admit: we have a bit of a soft spot in our office for Amsale, since Katharine wore the Blakely to her wedding this September!)

We ended our day at the Priscilla of Boston show. And what a way to end! We rode up to the show in a converted freight elevator that was bigger than my bedroom to a chandelier-lit industrial loft. There six different lines being showcased, and wow, were they different. From soft lace A-lines with pastel grosgrain ribbon belts to satin full-skirted gowns with flowing trains and beaded bodices, the Priscilla of Boston collection had something for every bride. Below: Fred riding up in the semi-truck-size elevator, Lara with high school friend and Priscilla of Boston makeup artist Roberto Casey!, Lara with Salt Lake City friends Hilary from Alta Moda Bridal and Tessa from Utah Bride and Groom Magazine.

This was pretty much us the whole time… charging phones while we could, tweeting live video, tweeting dresses! Just wait till you see what’s next y’all!

Bridal Market is a bit crazy. As you may have seen in our tweets, you dash from show to show and barely have time to eat or see the city. We decided to take a break and change that! This post has a soundtrack, so put on some Jay-Z New York State of Mind and enjoy our romp through the city! Lara, Fred and I had some NY street food and headed to Rockefeller Center where we got to see a proposal on ice! She said YES! : )

Then, Fred decided to play paparazzi and shoot Lara and I walking through Times Square. It was so fun to play tourist for a New York minute! Thanks for these fun pics, Fred!

Back to Bridal Market goodness next… on my it’s so good!

Hi y’all!  Marissa here again! I hope you enjoyed Part I of our Bridal Market adventures!  Next, we were off to Christos for some sweet polka dot gowns Miss Emily would have seriously loved.  Kenneth Pool never disappoints, and this season was no different.  Full-on glamour all the way!  We even had the pleasure of sitting across from Darcy Miller from Martha Stewart Weddings, and can I just say I want her wardrobe when I grow up!  Great to see so many familiar faces!  Below: Lara runway-side with Michael Norwood, Lisa Barr and Vane from Brooklyn Bride!

We then hopped in a cab and sped across town for Rivini at Lara’s favorite venue, the Alvin Ailey America Dance Theater. Randy Fenoli greeeted us in style as usual! We loved the accessories and styling of this show, plus we got to sit next to SW faves Joy Thigpen and Emily from OnceWed.
