How I got into weddings: I founded AVE in 2009 after working as a wedding planner at a well-known Virginia venue. One of the blessings of being in the DC area is that you have access to every type of venue imaginable, and I wanted to design events at all of them! Heidi and the folks at The Dandelion Patch just get it – they have a keen eye for what brides want, and carry a selection of some of the most beautiful stationery and invitations we’ve seen.
