Welcome back to Paper Goodness Days on SW! Trent and I loved the offerings at Alice-Louise Press, and loved that they paired letterpress pieces with digitally-printed pieces within suites to bring the cost down a bit.

Next up was Gilah Press, where there were nice people and this cute peaches + cream card.

I loved the beautiful range of colors at Max & Bunny (and those patterns were pretty nice, too!).

My friend Molly’s favorite stationer is Egg Press, so of course we had to make a stop at their booth. I loved the mason jar card!

Hello!Lucky’s quirky style was on brilliant display in their booth. They featured a few projects from their “Handmade Weddings” book in addition to their stationery.

Hammerpress also had a lovely booth. I loved the little flags identifying each card.

I adored the appropriately retro look of the cards and prints from Old School Stationers. You can find them for sale in their Etsy store here!

Last but certainly not least for Part II of our tour, we have Gooseberry Press, purveyor of stylish maps, city totes, and paper goods. Perfect for VIP weekend welcome gifts!

I’ll be back with more soon!

I’m IN LOVE with the mason jar card, but I can’t find it in their shop! Is it listed?

Hi Megan! Many stationers show new collections at the Show that haven’t begun to be sold yet. I’d take another peek in a few months!

Thank you for featuring Gooseberry Press! They create a lot of fun products with my map illustrations (especially their new lunch boxes), and it was great to see them at the show!

Hi, friends! Sierra and I are actually in Charleston today producing our first shoot for V4! (Yippee!!) Meanwhile, I thought I’d fill you in on the ridiculous paper goodness I saw while attending the National Stationery Show in NYC last week. Some of you may have seen my tweets on Tuesday, but now I’m ready to share the full scoop! I was so, so lucky to have photographer Trent Bailey Cobb along with me to document everything. Trent and I had a great time together and also found we have freakishly similar taste, which made for a fun and interesting day.

The National Stationery Show is an annual trade show for paper people to share their wares with buyers and editors. I went because 1) I am obsessed with paper (obviously) and 2) I wanted to find the freshest designs to share with y’all! I’ll be sharing the goods both today and tomorrow, so let’s get started, shall we?

After picking up our press passes, Trent and I first headed to meet with the fine people of Checkerboard. We looked through their two wedding binders and found lots to love. See me taking iPhone photos? Yep, there was a lot of that throughout the day.

Checkerboard was our only sit-down meeting of the day, so after that we were on our feet, prowling the aisles for paper goodness. And oh my did we find it!

We loved these calendars at One Canoe Two. Each one comes with a tree stump holder! Find them in their Etsy shop.

Below we have a GORGEOUS “blackberry pie” suite from Karen at Grapevine on the left, and classic letter sheets from Fawnsberry on the right. Wouldn’t those sheets be perfect for a groom? (Perhaps to write a sweet note to his fiancee the morning of the wedding?)

Our next stop, Printerette Press, was one of my favorites of the day! Her cards were so sweet and Southern, and her booth was adorable! The vendors really go all out with their booth design, and it was so fun to see the different ways people expressed their brand and style.

Mr. Boddington’s booth was as cheery and cheeky as always. Wedding guests, take note: their cards would be perfect for style-savvy newlyweds!

I’ll be back with more soon! Trust me, y’all have got a FULL day of paper goodness ahead of you!

All photos by the talented and wonderful Trent Bailey.

Did y’all see our Derby Week posts last week? (Here, here, here, here, here, and here, in case you missed ’em!) I hope you all took our friendly pointers and sipped on scrumptious mint juleps while donning fabulous hats on Saturday! Oh wait, you don’t have a huge sun hat? Never fear! We are giving away five monogrammed floppy hats from Marley Lilly, one in white and the other four in the color of your choice!

A big round of applause for Kristen C! She answered:

I love the classic wide derby hat in the caramel color with the yellow/green big sash bow. I would top off the look with my monogram in green, my primary wedding color! Love these hats! Such a great giveaway and absolutely perfect for a summer wedding in the south! :)

I’d also like to send a big huge congratulations to Animal Kingdom, the winner of the 137th Kentucky Derby! We’re big fans, here in the SW office!

You know how the saying goes: “first comes love, then comes marriage…” Well, the folks at Spark Letterpress like to change it up a little. Their mantra? “First comes love, then comes letterpress”! You know what? They’re right! Before you wear that pretty white dress, you have to send out save the dates for the big day and Spark Letterpress has some of the most fabulous save the dates out there!

Last week, we asked you to check out Spark Letterpress’ awesome website and report back to us with your favorite save the date collection. Out of the many entries, only one winner can be selected and we are so excited to announce her now!

Congratulations to Anne J. who will receive 100 completely customizable save the date cards and envelopes from Spark Letterpress! By the way, Anne was quite fond of the Lily design.

Check back next week for another tremendous giveaway opportunity!
