Okay ladies, get ready for an intense dose of Southern cuteness! Victoria and the team at Honey Bee Invites dreamed up the most adorable seersucker bow tie escort cards, and we couldn’t be more in love! The photos from The Studio B (taken at Star Provisions in Atlanta) show them off to perfection, too.

From Victoria:

“Honey Bee Invites believes seersucker and bow ties are the two most Southern details you can add to your special day. We decided to make DIY mini bow ties out of seersucker fabric! We were able to find seersucker in many colors, but loved the red and yellow combo. We had so much fun brainstorming and crafting for this challenge!”

Thanks so much, ladies! Readers, Honey Bee Invites actually sent in TWO fabulous concepts, and we’ll be showing the other tomorrow morning! In the meantime, though, feel free to comment on this post if you love these cuties!

I love love love these! I don’t know if it’s just the area where I grew up or all of Texas, but we don’t usually do escort cards or seated dinners. It’s usually a massive buffet that people visit all night long… whenever they want! (I guess it’s kind of hard to coordinate a Texas-sized seated dinner!) If I were doing escort cards, though, I would want these! So perfect!

Up next in our Southern escort card challenge we have a collaboration from Cyn Kain Photography and Erin McLean Events! Like our entrant this morning, Cyn and Erin’s idea involves a version for men and a version for women, and it couldn’t be cuter.

From Erin and Cyn:

“We spent some time thinking of ideas for this contest. We wanted ours to be different. We’ve seen peaches, coke bottles and mason jars all used before. We were working on a styled shoot together for an engaged couple and were planning on incorporating s’mores. Then it hit us…how cute would s’mores be! While these wouldn’t be the traditional escort card, they would be fun, unique and practical, which all brides are looking for today. In lieu of spending money on plain ole’ cards or even favors, these could double as both. To put a little Southern twist on our concept, we put bow ties on the bags for the gentleman and used bits of pearls and lace for the ladies. How perfect would these be with a little letter pressed circle designating each guest’s name and table number? What better way to end a wedding than by a fire pit making s’mores with your love!”

Erin and Cyn also put together some simple DIY instructions for those who’d like to tackle this project!

Thank you so much, ladies! Readers, if you love this idea, be sure to let us know in the comments! And remember, you’re welcome to give a vote of support to more than one concept.
