I love that this year is leap year! Just an extra day in February for us to feature more gorgeous Real Weddings. This month as we’re rounding up the highlights, we have Whitney, Sierra and myself going through and picking the details that just make us swoon!
FAVORITE WEDDING DRESS: Sierra loves lace (who doesn’t?) and Whitney’s v-neck dress won Sierra’s heart. For me, lace in the form of Audrey’s gorgeous low back dress and a pretty sash took my vote. For Whitney, it was the ruffly goodness of Darcy’s darling gown!
FAVORITE BRIDESMAID DRESS: Although the ladies dressed in pink and purple were not all Valerie’s bridesmaids, they still made a stunning mix-and-match bunch, in my opinion! Whitney was a big fan of Darcy’s ‘maids in their versatile taupe frocks and Sierra loved Audrey’s bridesmaids in ivory.
FAVORITE FEMALE ACCESSORY: Y’all know I never let a handkerchief pass my attention! I loved the embroidered ones at Darcy + John’s wedding. Blair’s gold bow pumps made Sierra swoon and the feathered parasol Whitney carried during the second line couldn’t be beat for Whitney.
FAVORITE MENSWEAR: Sierra was a fan of the mini checked and embroidered ties at Darcy + John’s wedding. I loved the tuxes that the men at Blair + Luke’s wedding sported, along with the single white blooms as their boutonnieres! Whitney picked a crowd pleaser when she spotted Jordan’s suit, spiffy tie and wild boutonniere.
FAVORITE DETAIL: We don’t blame Whitney at all for loving the quilt-draped swing at Sydney + Lucas’s wedding. Perfectly framed by white drapes, we could lay there all day! Sierra had beach on her mind and thought Valerie + Kevin’s sand dollar escort cards were darling! I, on the other hand, could not take my mind off of Blair + Luke’s bold reception tent and checked dance floor!
FAVORITE CEREMONY: The manicured lawn and white chairs at Blair + Luke’s ceremony appealed to Whitney’s fresh taste and classic style. I loved Whitney + Nick’s sunny ceremony — complete with NOLA flags! Sierra was completely taken with Audrey + Jordan’s outdoor wedding underneath a giant tree and a handmade altar.
FAVORITE BOUQUET: The all-white bouquets that Valerie and her ‘maids carried were a favorite of Whitney’s. I loved the soft colors and not-too-perfect shape of Audrey’s bouquet. Sierra chose Blair’s lush bouquet with pretty pops of green leaves.
FAVORITE SWEET: Darcy + John’s ruffly and textured cake was a win in Whitney’s opinion. I could not stop staring at Audrey + Jordan’s mini pecan pies! Adorable. Sierra was smitten with Sydney + Lucas’s simple white cake with a rustic and sweet topper.
FAVORITE PHOTO: Who could resist loving the fun photo from Whitney + Nick’s wedding? It sure stole Sierra’s heart. For me, the sweet dance moment between Sydney + Lucas pulled at my heart strings. Of course, no one could pass up a fun confetti photo! Whitney loved the festive pink and red at Blair + Luke’s wedding!
