I’ll never grow tired of blush bridesmaid dresses, and according to the number of weddings we see with bridesmaids wearing them, neither will many of you! I personally think it’s the perfect shade for brides who are going for a sweet, romantic aesthetic, and it looks beautiful with every skin tone and hair color. We were so excited to learn about the new Wonder by Jenny Packham collection from David’s Bridal, because not only do they offer a gorgeous new assortment of styles for blush-loving gals, they also fit the high quality at an affordable price point standard that David’s Bridal is known and loved for. We asked a few sweet Florida readers to model some of our favorite styles for us, and our Blue Ribbon Vendor Elaine Palladino captured them to perfection so we could show you how lovely they are in today’s post!

There are really no “cons” to a mismatched bridal party look–every girl gets a dress she loves and that works with her body type, and it creates an interesting, layered look in your bridal party photos. There are a few ways to pull it off seamlessly:

1. Same color, fabrics, and length, different styles
2. Same color and fabrics, different lengths and styles
3. Same color, different fabrics, lengths, and styles
4. Same color and length, different fabrics and styles

As you can see in these photos, we went with option four, choosing all long dresses from the Wonder by Jenny Packham collection in “Petal.” The dresses come in 10 different colors, and are made of a variety of fabrics, including Chantilly lace and chiffon, so you can mix and match as much or as little as you’d like!

The Wonder by Jenny Packham collection is brand new–it just launched this season, and is available exclusively at David’s Bridal stores and on Along with six bridesmaid styles (that we pulled from for this shoot), the collection also includes nine bridal gowns, four mother of the bride dresses, two flower girl dresses, and accessories.

One of the best things about choosing David’s Bridal bridesmaid dresses is that with over 300 stores nationwide, it’s practically a guarantee that each and every one of your best gals will be able to visit a location and try on her dress in person to make sure it’ll be a perfect fit, no matter where she lives. Can’t figure out where to start your search? Use David’s Bridal’s Bridesmaid Dress Style Finder Tool to pull up all of the options that will be the best fit for your venue, color palette, and preferences, and then email the winning looks to your bridesmaids to weigh in on!

We’d love to know, which of these dresses is your favorite? I’m torn between those delicate lace sleeves and jeweled neckline!

Wedding and bridesmaid dress shopping always come with a handful of questions–where should I go? Who should I bring? What if I fall in love with a dress that’s outside of my budget? If you’re recently engaged and beginning the hunt for your dress (or dresses for your favorite gals), chances are, a few of these concerns have crossed your mind. The first question, where to shop, can be particularly challenging if you’re like many of our readers who live in small towns, where the selection may be seriously limited, or your local bridal salon may not carry the designers you love. A road trip to your nearest big city is certainly one option (which would be so much fun!), but perhaps not always doable within your timeline and budget. If this is a predicament you’re finding yourself in, I’m excited to introduce you to a fabulous solution: Fame and Partners’ affordable bridal dresses and their Bridesmaid Dress Planner!

The Fame and Partners team is passionate about two things: fashion and technology. They’ve combined the two to make it easy for brides from all over the country to shop for both wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses that are stylish, unique, and made to order. They’ve even designed the styles (wedding dresses included!) to be easy to re-wear after the big day.

My favorite feature of the Fame and Partners site is their Bridesmaid Dress Planner. After registering your wedding on their site, you can invite your bridesmaids, create a moodboard for inspiration, comment and vote on favorite styles, and then place your order, all in one place. As an added bonus, if you use the Bridesmaid Dress Planner, Fame and Partners will gift the bride with a dress for her honeymoon!

If you need a little extra help, Fame and Partners stylists are always on hand–for $49, they’ll use their expertise to style your bridal party for you, as well as manage the communication with your bridesmaids (SO handy if you have a big bridal party in mismatched styles!). If you purchase your wedding dress at Fame and Partners, that $49 actually then goes toward the cost of your dress. Win-win!

We’d love to hear, how did you manage the process of finding your wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses? Share your advice for brides-to-be in the comments below!

Ladies…you need to read the reviews of this company-they are a scam. Protect your readers. The dresses are of poor quality and there is zero (I mean zero) customer service. They will refuse to take dresses back (I am not the only person this has happened to, many reviewers on BBB and wedding sites say the same) and I am now in fraud proceedings with them.

Are y’all familiar with my bridesmaid dress saga? Oh my, it went on and on! I agonized over the price, the color, the fit, the style, the lead time… pretty much every aspect of the experience. I think if I had only seen these happy images from Donna Morgan Bridesmaids sooner, my experience would have been a lot sunnier…

The Blaire in Lemonade and Spearmint and the Rhea in Orchid

One of my favorite things about Donna Morgan Bridesmaids dresses is that they’re perfect for mixing and matching. Each one is cut from chiffon, a wonderfully adaptable (and forgiving!) material, making it easy to pair silhouettes and even colors and still achieve a unified look. Each style is feminine and flattering, meaning you pretty much can’t go wrong no matter what you choose.

The Mary and Emily in Blush, and the Lauren in Sterling

Donna Morgan’s use of chiffon also means these gowns are particularly well-suited to Southern bridesmaids — the light and airy material is perfect for sweltering Southern summers (and springs and falls — y’all know they can be sweltering, too!).

Morgan in Hint of Mint, Hallie in Ocean Spray, Morgan in Candlelight, Morgan in Peach Fuzz, and Mary in Blush

Are you loving these pastel shades as much as I am? They mix and match in such a gorgeous way!

My final favorite thing about Donna Morgan’s collection? Immediate shipment! So much of my bridesmaid dress angst stemmed from the fact that I felt a ton of pressure to make a decision quickly and order the gowns as soon as possible so that we’d have the two month (or more!) construction time most lines require, plus enough time for alterations. And heaven forbid if the dresses come in and you don’t like them! With Donna Morgan, your ‘maids could even order one style, and if they don’t love the fit as much on them as they thought they would, have time to exchange it for another! Brilliant!

After all, with 13 core bodies, or styles, and 15 core colors, there are lots of great possibilities from which to choose, so I can understand if they’d want to try out a few options! You can check out the entire 2013 Bridesmaids Collection here, and take a peek at their darling Spring Lookbook here!

P.S. Those of y’all who’ve already chosen your bridesmaid dresses? Be sure to check out DM’s Little White Dress Collection! I personally love the Raven.
