Is there anything more beautiful than a radiantly joyful bride? Meghan is absolutely beaming in every frame of this video by Villatoro Productions, and the way her groom, Tim, looks at her is just the sweetest thing. I know y’all are going to love their beautiful Virginia venue, the monogrammed flower girl sashes, and of course, the touching toast from the father of the bride!

From the bride:

It is hard to put down in words how amazing and special our day was. For this one day, we had so many of our loved ones together in one room to celebrate our relationship and commitment. For a year and a half, with the help of our parents, especially my mother, we brainstormed, planned, and scoured through magazines and Pinterest for ideas to shape our vineyard wedding into the perfect day for us. My favorite detail was our menus. My mother had a family friend paint pictures of different scenes from our venue and then had prints made of the different images that were then used as the background for our wedding dinner menu. My favorite memories, besides seeing my husband at the end of the aisle, were my father’s toast during the reception and the reading by my father-in-law during the ceremony. My husband and I wholeheartedly agree that our day was perfect for us. It was the first day of what we hope and believe will be a long a fulfilling marriage!

It has been an exciting week around these parts, especially since we are knee-deep in V6 shoot season! We cannot wait to show y’all the gorgeous things we’ve been working on, but in the meantime, we’ve had so many pretty weddings and fun posts on the blog this week!

Summer is flying by, but we’re determined to enjoy our summers in the South as much as we can before the leaves change. To serve as both an inspiration and a little challenge, we created a list of 31 #summerdoins to try to complete by the first day of fall. I’ve checked off 17 so far–how about you?

One of the first things the SW team asked me to do on my first day of work was to think about what “my South” is. Lara shared her South and why she loves it here on the blog this week, and would love for y’all to do the same! (P.S. One random commenter will win one of our favorite Southern Weddings Shop products!)

We’re looking for some of our lovely Atlanta-area readers to model for us in a V6 shoot on September 11! Check out the model call post for more information.

So many beautiful weddings this week!

Koli and Dylan’s family-focused barn wedding touched all of our hearts. Isn’t this picture of Koli and her parents the sweetest? See it all here.

Riley and Bryant’s Texas wedding included the prettiest pastel colors and tons of meaningful details. See it here.

The flowers in particular caught my eye at Carol and Scott’s wedding, but even more so, I love the little ways they incorporated details from their families. See it here.

We were so impressed not only by Melati and Mark’s effortlessly chic Charleston wedding, but also, their smart perspectives on planning a wedding and being married. See it here.

One more fun thing!

Y’all enjoy your weekend, and don’t forget to try some #summerdoins!

I love the idea of ombre bridesmaid dresses! Such a pretty concept! Those wedding invitations/stationery are lovely – colour combo is perfect!
I saw chair garlands the other day, wreaths are pretty cool too!
