Remember wayyyy back when we first issued a call for all Southern bride bloggers? Oh yes, here :) Well, we finally got our rears in gear and set up the page, which you can find here!

I know we have tons of new readers since we first posted about this, so if you’d like to be listed, just leave a comment below with your blog address! Make sure you include a valid email in your comment so we can send over your badge. We only ask that you are a bride currently planning a wedding in the Southeastern United States, and that you blog at least once a week! We’re also open to hearing from Southern gals planning weddings outside the South.

P.S. Love this sort of stuff? Then we think you’ll love these links:

I love Southern Weddings and have been following you guys for over a year, your website is truly inspirational for all brides out there. I would be proud to place your badge on my blog, my fiance and I are getting married in Old Town Alexandria, VA on June 9th!

I would love a button! I’m planning our June wedding and have just recently began posting about some of the stuff I don’t care that other people know, it’s so much fun to hear from other brides who are going through the same process!

So fun! I started blogging before I got engaged and once I got engaged I started doing “Wedding Wednesday’s!” Would love to put your button on my blog, Fried Green Pickles! :) We’re from and getting married in Charleston, SC on March 30, 2013.

I would love a button for my blog, Southern in Love! I’ve been blogging since we got engaged in November of 2010 and can’t believe the wedding is getting so close! June 30th will be here before I know it! I love to discuss our wedding and how it’s progressing as well as other fun (and Southern) things.

Just missed it as I’m now a Southern Newlywed! I was recently married in the South and blogged throughout my entire planning process on http://www.SouthernGlamMeagan.com. Southern Weddings was a huge influence and great inspiration. Thanks SW!

I would love a button for my blog, argyle & paisley! I have been blogging since before my fiance (Jamison) proposed in October 2011, but since then I have almost only blogged about wedding things. Jamison and I are both from Charlotte, NC and that is where we are getting married on September 29, 2012. I have been looking at Southern Weddings blog since before we got engaged as well, and have every issue of the magazine!

We are having a garden wedding this September in Virginia. I took most of my inspiration from the blog and magazine. Love you guys!

Hi! I love SW!! I started The Sweet Iced Tea Soiree blog when I first started planning my wedding, I’ve realized how much I love it, and I’m currently in the middle of event and wedding planning school now!! I must say, most of my inspiration for my October 6th 2012 wedding at The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, has come from Southern Weddings magazine!

I actually started my blog to document my crafting projects as I started learning to quilt last August and began making quilts for friends. After I got engaged in February I decided that planning my wedding would be the new focus of the project blog for a while, so I’m keeping family and friends who are out-of-town updated with the details through the blog. My fiance and I are getting married on October 27 in charming downtown Ocean Springs, Mississippi! I would love to add your button and hopefully bring more Mississippi brides your way. :)

I’m originally from New York, but I came to Virginia for middle school – just in time to fall in love with this gorgeous commonwealth AND meet my Georgia-born love! Fast forward through our friendship in high school, losing touch in college, and moving back to Virginia at the same time, and now we’re engaged! We’re getting married on June 1, 2013, in Virginia and I couldn’t be happier! My blog is at http://laurenchanting.blogspot.com/ and I’d love to be listed as a Southern bride blogger :)

I’m a southern girl living in cold & snowy Maine!
My fiance (a true Mainer and lobsterfisherman) are getting married on September 1st, 2012 in an old barn in Buxton, Maine.
I started a blog to share my journey to ‘I DO!’ I love DIY projects and LOVE every aspect about planning my wedding! I am Southern Wedding OBSESSED! You gals are amazing!

I launched my blog as a bride-to-be and this SBB program was discontinued during that time. As a newlywed, I have become a bridal blogger. I dearly want to be a part of this program.

Hi Angela! So sorry to disappoint you, but we don’t have any plans to list regular wedding blogs (i.e. not brides currently planning) at this time! If we do that in the future, we’d love to have you! :)

Hi ladies! I think I’ve emailed you all — we’re happy to have you! :)

I’d LOVE LOVE LOVE to be featured in your Southern Brides Bloggers :) I live in KY and am having a Southern Charm filled wedding on June 2nd of this year! I’ve been blogging each week since my engagement in my “Wedding Wednesday” section! I’m having a HUGE wedding, but doing it on a budget! The whole premise of my blog in the first place was ways to live a champagne lifestyle when you’re a poor teacher! Thanks for providing this so we can connect with other brides!!

Hey, howdy, and happy Tuesday, y’all! Since the time between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day (or something like that…) is officially “engagement season,” we know we have lots of new belles just joining the Southern Weddings ranks. We wanted to take a sec to do a quick rundown of the spots where you can find Southern goodness, on this blog and beyond.

First, of course, you’ve got the main blog. We post here two-four times a day on a variety of topics related to weddings and the South. There will always be gorgeous real weddings, but we also post fun features and series. Some of our favorites right now are Emily’s wedding planning posts, our Southern Brides of the Month, Marissa’s fashion and style posts, and our recent series on Southern wedding traditions.

New readers, be sure to check out our real weddings gallery to catch up on years’ worth of inspiring Southern weddings! You can search by color and state, too.

Don’t miss the editorial galleries, either! We’ve posted in-depth looks at almost all of our editorial features from V3 and V4. While you’re at it, why not flip through online editions of V1, V2, and V3? You can always purchase copies of our print editions at this link.

Engaged ladies, your new best friend is our Blue Ribbon Vendor Directory. We’ve stocked it with more than sixty of our favorite vendors across the South and beyond, and we’re adding more talents every day! Vendors do pay to be listed (full disclosure!), but they also must apply to be admitted, and we review each application as a team, and follow up with their references. Only the best for our belles! The Blue Ribbon Vendors you see listed as “Editors’ Picks” have been featured in one of our print editions, so they get an extra-special stamp of SW approval.

If you’re well on your way with wedding planning, it’s time to start thinking about the honeymoon! The Honey List is our collection of SW-approved vacation spots.

Before we move beyond the site, be sure to get acquainted with all of the Southern Weddings ladies, if we haven’t yet been formally introduced! You can see all of our profiles here, including Lara (Editor in Chief), Emily (Art Director), Whitney (Director of Advertising), Marissa (Features Editor), Sierra (Assistant Art Director), and Nicole (Editorial Assistant). We also post about goings-on in our office of ladies in a special “In the Office” category.

Now that we’re better acquainted, we know you’re going to want to spend some quality time with us, am I right? Lucky for you, we’re quite social! We have one main Twitter account (@iloveswmag), where we share recent blog posts, happenings in the office, behind-the-scenes deets on shoot days, industry discounts and sample sales, news about Southern friends and events, and much more. All the SW ladies have their own accounts, too. So if you like business + branding, follow Lara, or if paper pretties and mini food are more your thing, follow Emily! (Or both, of course!) Nicole’s here, Sierra’s here, Marissa’s here, and Whitney, of course, is here.

Next, there’s Facebook. You may all feel free to like us here :) We share much of the same insider news and details that we do on Twitter, but it’s fun to see the conversations develop on FB. Plus, we sometimes ask fun polls on our Facebook page, and love hearing what y’all have to say!

Lastly, there’s Pinterest! You can follow Southern Weddings here. We love to pin photos from blog and print features, and it’s great for y’all, too, because we sort photos into different, fun categories. So if you’re looking for sweet tea + other drinks, biscuits + other delectables, or bow ties + boutonnieres, we’ve got you covered. We also have boards for ceremonies, fashion + style, bouquets, sweets, Southern traditions… you name it. And of course, each color has its own board, too. Get pinning!

And while you’re there, feel free to follow each individual account, too: Lara, Emily, Marissa, Whitney, Sierra, and Nicole. (If you need a Pinterest invite, just let us know!)

And there you have it! Southern Weddings in a nutshell (make that a pecan husk, natch). Questions, just ask! And if you’re new around these parts, introduce yourself below! We LOVE to meet our readers!

Hi Emily! I am newly engaged, and I became a fast fan of Southern Weddings! But I can’t seem to add the blog to my google reader. Am I the only one with this problem? Any tips?
