When we debuted our ceremonial marriage certificates last year, they quickly became one of our favorite shop products — and yours, too! They’re such a special way to remember your wedding in your home after the confetti has been swept away, and look absolutely gorgeous framed.

One piece of feedback we did hear from y’all was that though you LOVED the certificates, you were worried that your handwriting on the fill-in lines wouldn’t stack up next to Moya’s beautiful calligraphy. I totally understand, as I’m in awe of her lettering, too!! Normally we would just say “go for it!” or “make a mess!” but such a special piece is not the place to wing it.

So, for the holidays, we’ve teamed up with MM Ink herself to offer a special lettering promotion: with the purchase of our special certificate packages (either gold foil or black letterpress), Moya will hand-letter the lines for your names, wedding date, wedding venue, and wedding location. All you’ll have to do is sign! (And we guarantee y’all can handle that!)

The hand-lettered certificates are available in gold foil and black letterpress, and make perfect holiday gifts for the newlyweds in your life (or for yourself!). Goil foil certificates will be lettered in gold, and black letterpress certificates will be lettered in black ink. The certificate + lettering packages are $55. Orders for this special offer will close on December 1 to allow Moya time to letter everything before the holidays!

Any questions? Don’t hesitate to ask below! We hope y’all love this idea as much as we do!

Will you be accepting orders after 12/1? I don’t need it for the holidays since my wedding isn’t until May and we’re short on money right now.
    Thanks!

Hi Samantha! This is a limited time promotion since we’re partnering with Moya. We might try it again next year at some point, but if you really love it, I’d try to purchase it now because unfortunately I can’t make guarantees about when we might offer it again!

In addition to all of the conceptualizing, planning, organizing, writing, shooting, and designing we’ve been doing for Southern Weddings V7 over the last few months, we’ve also been busily working on several exciting projects behind the scenes! One we gave a sneak peek of yesterday on instagram

…and several others will debut in our shop over the next few weeks! We are SO excited to introduce you to the first new Southern Weddings signature product today: our ceremonial marriage certificate!

Hopefully y’all know by now how much we love marriage in addition to weddings. The ceremony has always been our favorite part of a wedding day, and we’re giddy that this beautiful piece will be a part of so many memories for so many couples, preserving them in the loveliest way possible.

The certificate is printed in gold foil and matte black letterpress, both on thick cotton stock. Our talented friend Moya Minns of MM Ink contributed the gorgeous calligraphy – isn’t it lovely??

We could not be more proud of this heirloom piece, and know it will look beautiful for years to come in newlywed homes around the South. We hope you adore it as much as we do!!

Take a peek at our shop to see the black and gold versions, as well as the rest of our goodies!

Congratulations on this launch!! The marriage certificate is definitely a beautiful heirloom piece, and I’m already planning on purchasing several for upcoming weddings for friends & clients! Thank you for celebrating marriage so marvelously.

This is absolutely beautiful!! I wish normal marriage certificates looked this lovely. It seems like modern marriage certificates are just downright boring! Would love to order this and frame it for my husband and I!

LOVE this! Such a beautiful piece to display in your home. Do you think it would be odd to ask our Maid of Honor, Best Man, and Pastor to sign this 2 years after our wedding? :)
