Our friends from Steel Magnolias claim “the bigger the hair, the closer to God“. I’m not sure there’s a better way put this to the test than with our final 2016 holiday giveaway: six months of blow-outs! Having spent my younger years on the softball field and in the gymnastics gym, I’m not a dancer, but always wished my mama had put me in ballet class when I was little. Pretty sure this is why I’m a total fan girl of the Barre3 exercise program: it makes me feel like a ballerina without expecting me to actually have previous experience. Beyond requiring no past skills, it’s a perfect way to de-stress and exercise, all from the comfort of your own home (with their fancy online streaming service). Confession: I’m not a big coffee drinker. This may come as a shock to some, and I’m sure Lorelai and Rory would be so disappointed in me. However, I will say that when I have a few moments to relax, I love a good cup of coffee on the porch. But hot chocolate on the other hand — yes, please! I’m all for cranking up the AC, Netflix-ing a Christmas movie, and savoring a few slow minutes with with a warm mug.
