Get in touch

We’re Justin and Amanda! Husband and wife. Photographer and assistant. But most importantly, best friends. We do not just love the South; we breathe the South. We love pecan pie. We love sweet tea. We love dreamy Spanish moss dripping from giant oaks. We love a sweet hello you receive from a stranger on a Sunday morning as you head to your favorite brunch spot. The South itself has helped shape our company (and our lives) into what it is today. And we wouldn’t change a thing!

Full Names: Justin and Amanda Brown

Things you’d write home to your Momma about: Our parents are always the first to receive any magazine that our work has been featured in. And if for some reason we forget to send one, boy, are we in trouble! Mom and Dad still have the very first magazine laid out on their coffee table where we had this tiny little ole’ photo in a magazine you may have heard of: Southern Weddings. In addition, we have been published by Dear Gray Magazine, 100 Layer Cake, Style Me Pretty, Wedding Chicks, Grey Likes Weddings, The Southeastern Bride, and Wedding Sparrow. You’ll even find our photo on the current issue of Savannah Weddings Magazine!
Location/Coverage: Savannah, Charleston, and the Lowcountry
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? The food, of course! Let’s be honest: there’s not much better than Southern cooking!
Favorite part of a wedding day? There are so many great moments, but our favorite part of the day is probably the bride and groom’s portraits. Wedding days can be so busy and full of many people. When we steal the couple away for their portraits, it’s so beautiful to see the newlyweds enjoy these new moments as husband and wife. Everything fades into the background and they get to just be excited together and love on each other with no one else around. We’re so blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of these once-in-a-lifetime moments.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Have fun! At the end of the day, a wedding is just a big ‘ole party for you two! Remember that. Laugh. Eat. Drink. Smile. Enjoy every single moment.
Favorite Southern city? Savannah! Nothing feels as good as home!
Early bird or night owl? Early bird for sure.
Favorite pie flavor? Pecan pie!
Favorite biscuit topping? Honey from Savannah Bee Company
