Things you’d write home to your Momma about: My biggest accomplishment thus far is being accepted as a Blue Ribbon Vendor for Southern Weddings! I am a huge fan of Southern Weddings and what they stand for. Not to mention being featured in The Knot (50 weddings 50 states for Mississippi), Gulf Coast Wedding Magazine (both cover and featured weddings), and Borrowed and Blue. None of that compares to all my sweet couples who have trusted me to tell their love story.

How I got into weddings: I knew early on that I wanted to capture love. I reached out to a local photographer and asked her if I could tag along to a small wedding of hers. I promised to not be in the way and to stay on the sidelines. She gave me the best gift possible. At that moment my love for weddings grew and became a wild passion. Eight years later and with over 100 weddings under my belt, my passion is still wild over weddings!
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? Being a Northerner who moved to the South, I am completely smitten! Southern hospitality and my Southern couples themselves are my favorite things. They are sweet, kind, and wholesome. They love wholeheartedly. My love for historic homes and architecture is another reason why I love Southern Weddings. The details of historic architecture paired with a beautify Southern bride gets me every time!
Favorite part of a wedding day? Hands down the father daughter dance…I tear up every single time! There’s something about that special time between a father and his daughter.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms?I encourage husbands and wives to continue celebrating their marriage beyond that blissful first day.
