How I got into weddings: After taking on my first few weddings for clients, I was hooked. I felt like I could really let my vision shine with the perfect Southern couple who appreciated my artistic style! Oh, and the cake (it always keeps me coming back).
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? Outdoor receptions all year round, gorgeous Southern belle brides, sneaking couples off in the evenings for portraits under the twinkle lights, and of course, a good ole homemade sweet iced tea!
Favorite part of a wedding day? Of course, my all time favorite moments are the couple’s portraits just after the ceremony. It’s that first time the bride and groom get to be alone together, to look at each other and say, “we’re married!”
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Don’t stress the small stuff, and let us as wedding professionals handle the structure of the day. As vendors, we have experience dealing with the crucial points of the event so that you get to enjoy yourselves!
