Marriage is such an incredible gift, and I’m delighted to serve brides by documenting the beautiful start to their marriage. People matter to me, relationships are my inspiration, and serving clients is why I do what I do. I strive to tell each couple’s story through timeless, classic photographs with lots of laughs along the way!

Full Name: Meredith Teasley
Where you call home: Brentwood, TN… but I’ll always be an Alabama girl at heart!
Things you’d write home to your Momma about: The incredible couples I’ve met, the neat back roads and farms where I’ve had the opportunity to work, the blogs and print magazines where she can see some of my photography, and of course being a Southern Weddings Blue Ribbon Vendor!
Location/Coverage: Nashville, TN… serving Nashville, Birmingham, the Southeast, and beyond!
How I got into weddings: I realized how great of an opportunity weddings would be to serve my clients, to help them truly relax and enjoy their wedding day, and to tell their story in a joyful way! I love people and I value relationships, so weddings quickly became a natural fit for me.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? The warm smiles, the big hugs, and of course the people! I love that people in the South have a way of preserving family heirlooms and carrying on traditions that make weddings so much more unique and meaningful!
Favorite part of a wedding day? So many parts of a wedding day make it fun, but my favorite would have to be the vows! I love witnessing the lifelong promises a bride and groom make before God and the people who matter most.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? On your wedding day, slow down and soak it all in. Remind yourself to have fun and enjoy the one you’ll spend the rest of your life loving! On a practical note, consider starting premarital counseling before you get engaged. This allows you to focus time on your upcoming marriage before all the crazy wedding plans take over.
Dream travel destination? Prince Edward Island, Canada. Anne of Green Gables, anyone?
Favorite Southern city? Santa Rosa Beach, FL… It’s where my husband and I said, “I do!”
Early bird or night owl? Early bird!
Pie bar or red velvet cake? Red velvet cake with yummy icing!
Pottery Barn or Anthropologie? Pottery Barn!
Succulents or peonies? Peonies!
