Krystal Kast Photography

Category: Photography

Krystal has the distinct privilege of shooting often at one of our very favorite venues (Fearrington!), but we think her work would be just as lovely without such an idyllic backdrop. She has a knack for capturing beautiful emotion and timeless moments!

Krystal’s distinctive style is a unique balance of fine art, photojournalism and timeless portraiture. She has an artist’s eye for beauty and composition with a finely-honed talent for creating stunning portraits while capturing the true emotion and beauty of the day.

How I got into weddings: I first discovered my love of photography in high school. I learned to shoot on a 100% manual camera and developed film in my father’s traditional darkroom. After graduating with a BFA emphasizing photography, a friend asked to me to photograph her wedding. I was hooked from that point on!
