Hi y’all, I’m Jessica! I am a wedding photographer who loves love. Jessica Bordner Photography specializes in outdoor, natural light weddings with a touch of Southern charm. I love movies and believe every love story should be captured just like a romantic film, reliving every moment of happiness, laughter, tears of joy, and love. I feel very lucky to be able to meet so many people and to be able to tell their stories with images they will have for a lifetime.

Name(s): Jessica Bordner
Where you call home: Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
Things you’d write home to your Momma about: TThe best award I have ever received is the genuine happiness from my couples when they see their images for the first time, but I’ve been very blessed to have my images featured on some amazing sites, including Style Me Pretty, Wedding Chicks, Today Shows Real Weddings, and more. I think I was most excited, though, to officially become part of Southern Weddings’ Blue Ribbon Vendor family!
Location/Coverage: My head rests in South Florida, but I’m ready to travel worldwide for beautiful love stories.
How I got into weddings: I’m a romantic at heart and have always been a sucker for romance movies and LOVE. Five years ago, I had so many of my friends starting to get engaged that starting to shoot weddings seemed like a perfect fit! I adore watching a couple’s love unfold during such a special moment in their life; I cannot imagine doing anything else.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? My favorite thing has to be the ambiance. There is so much character and variety at every turn, whether it’s a beautiful old oak tree, a coastal town, or the perfect barn. There is so much inspiration for a photographer.
Favorite part of a wedding day? I love experiencing all the different emotions throughout a wedding day. If I had to choose my favorite, it would be the first look between a bride and groom. I always shed a tear behind the camera! A close second for me is shooting the details – I’m absolutely smitten when my couples have such unique details that are so personal to them!
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Take it all in! The wedding is such a small part of a lifelong marriage, and the day can go by so quickly. I always tell my couples to step away from their reception and look in on their friends and family celebrating their love.
Dream travel destination? I love to travel, so I have many dream locations on my list. I would have to say my number one would be in the countryside of Italy.
Favorite Southern city? I heart Charleston, South Carolina.
Early bird or night owl? Night owl! My morning alarm clock definitely gets snoozed a few times.
Pie bar or red velvet cake? You cannot beat a homemade southern apple pie!
Pottery Barn or Anthropologie? I have one major weakness in life… Anthropologie!
Succulents or peonies? Succulents
