Location/Coverage: Primarily Southeast, but we love to travel!
How I got into weddings: If I look back and read journals from high school, I always said I wanted to be a “wedding photographer.” I started darkroom work in 1995, and my love for photography just continued to grow. I finally made the leap after a heart-to-heart with my dad, and haven’t looked back since!
Favorite part of a wedding day? The moment right after the bride and groom have said their vows, and come down the aisle to me — the looks on their faces, and the calm before the rest of the day — it’s just beautiful! And… I wouldn’t be telling the truth if I didn’t say a very close second is the father-daughter dance; I have to wear waterproof mascara!
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Be in the moment! This is the start of the most amazing adventure you will have in your lives, and don’t forget to look around, and see all the people who love you, and are there to celebrate your love!
