I thrive on soft, glowing light with natural poses and joyful moments. I adore timeless style combined with beautiful colors and sweet details that reflect each bride and groom. Serving my clients is always my number one goal and an aspect of my job I am incredibly passionate about.

Things you’d write home to your Momma about: I am so grateful to have been a part of many weddings with amazing couples and their families. There is nothing quite like hearing your clients rave about their wedding photos! Aside from being able to serve many amazing couples, I am honored to have work featured in some of the top print and web wedding publications, including Style Me Pretty, Martha Stewart Weddings, Wedding Sparrow, The Wall Street Journal, Magnolia Rouge, Elle Decor, Coastal Bride, Belle Lumiere, Grey Likes Weddings, Carats & Cake, 100 Layer Cake, Cottage Hill Magazine, and of course, Southern Weddings!
Location/Coverage: All across the South and Southeast, but primarily South Carolina.
How I got into weddings: I grew up painting with acrylic paints. My favorite thing about painting is defining and capturing the light with a mixture of colors. In college, I took a photography class and fell in love with this same concept, only with the camera. One thing led to another, I shadowed a local wedding photographer, and I fell in love with the combination of creativity and working closely with people. The rest is history.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? The Southern traditions and romantic charm, mixed with big families, elegant style, and good ol’ Southern food.
Favorite part of a wedding day? There is something about when a father sees his little girl in her wedding dress that gets me every single time. I also love the bride and groom portraits–their joy is unreal.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Above everything, focus on each other. Being engaged is a time to prepare for marriage, not your wedding day. Second, give yourself plenty of time on your wedding day. Not being rushed allows you to take in and enjoy so much more, so do what you can to spread the day out so you aren’t trying to squeeze moments in.
