Things you’d write home to your Momma about: My most prideful moment is when a bride leaves me a glowing review. Nothing makes me happier than knowing my brides are over-the-moon happy with their photos. No award would ever replace a happy bride in my book!

How you got into weddings: A friend was getting married at a gorgeous vineyard and asked me if I would be interested in photographing it. I agreed, and I fell in love from that moment on. It doesn’t get any better than being with a bride, groom and family on one of the happiest days of their lives!!
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? Sweet tea, seer sucker suits, “yes ma’am,” doors being held open for the ladies, Southern accents, a hug from everyone, and the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen!
Favorite part of a wedding day? My favorite part of the wedding day has to be when my brides do a “dad reveal.” I can only imagine what Dad feels seeing his beautiful daughter for the first time on her wedding day. There is a special bond between a daughter and her father, and it is a beautiful thing to watch!
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Make a “family formals” list! The most important thing on a wedding day is to have a pre-planned list for what family photos the couple wants after the ceremony. It saves time and makes the process much less stressful!
Dream travel destination? I would love to do a wedding in the mountains!
Favorite Southern city? Savannah: the cobblestones, the trees, the river, and the fudge!!
