It’s rare to find a photographer that is as equally skilled at capturing editorial-style details as they are at capturing real people and real emotion… which is why I’m thrilled to introduce you to Corbin Gurkin, one of our lovely wedding resource vendors. Corbin shoots mainly in film, and usually has her fiance, Thatcher, by her side at weddings. The SW ladies were lucky enough to get to meet and work with both of them at a recent V4 shoot in Charleston — can’t wait to share the images in September! The Planters Inn is a gorgeous, historic Charleston venue listed in our Resources section. In fact, they’re the only historic property at the famed City Market! We love that they cater to intimate weddings (their spaces can accommodate up to 125 guests), and that they are happy to serve as a couture one-stop shop for brides and grooms traveling in from afar (food, flowers, cake, coordination — the works). The Inn’s Garden Courtyard or private dining rooms would also be great spots for rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, or morning-after brunches. See more photos and all the details at their site!
