Did y’all have a wonderful Fourth of July week? The SW gals sure did! I was in Northern Michigan; Lara held down the fort in Chapel Hill with watermelon pigs and roosters; Marissa supported her husband, who was sporting an AWESOME ‘stache; Kristin broke out her watermelon knife; and Nicole made strawberry shortcake! Yum yum yum!
Those of you who are signed up for our new monthly newsletter got a sweet little surprise in your inbox last week (we hope you loved it!). Since it was our first one, we wanted to give the rest of you a peek at the red, white, and blue goodness, and remind you to sign up lickety-split, so you’re ready to go come August!
Can you tell I was a little afraid of the sparks flying everywhere? No? Good :)
We’re still new to this whole newsletter thing, so we’re open to your thoughts on what y’all might like to see in this space! But for now, we expect each one will have behind-the-scenes news, some sort of fun editor feature, darling photos, highlights of our favorite features from the past month, and, of course, some sort of Shop discount or promo code!
In our first newsletter, a few of us chose to highlight our current favorite products from the Southern Weddings Shop. Nicole chose the “Butter My Butt” card (which just so happened to match our barn backdrop perfectly!), I chose the pink lemonade tea towel, and Lara chose Volume 5!
Sound like something you might be interested in? You can go ahead and sign up for the newsletter here. All photos by the wonderful Faith Teasley Photography! And don’t forget: the red, white, and blue fun doesn’t stop just because it’s now the Ninth of July – our #southerndoin challenge for July is all about Old Glory! Click here for all the details. We can’t wait to see what y’all come up with!
Faith Teasley is a delightful member of our Blue Ribbon Vendor Directory!
