Just this morning, Lisa and I were discussing how we both cry while reading Real Wedding interviews, and I was telling her how the images can make me cry as well! And let me tell y’all, Jessica + Burton’s wedding was no different! Between the images of Jessica’s mama in the same gown she wore down the aisle to the series of incredible expressions as they saw her for the first time, these Dixie Pixel photos have both Lisa and I reaching for our monogrammed tissue boxes (a new office requirement!).

We just had to include all three of these precious faces! Talk about priceless moments, y’all!

I knew I didn’t want to go the standard route, but I didn’t know exactly what I wanted either. So, I found a local bridal boutique that only made custom dresses and restored vintage ones. That sounded good and different to me. Right after I made my appointment, I remembered that my mom might still have her dress in the attic in the “dress-up/costume” box for the grandkids. I called my mom, rushed out there, and got the dress to take to my appointment the next day. It fit! No alterations were needed, just a good cleaning and a few minor replacements of the zipper and a button. My mom had her headpiece and veil, too. It was all perfect. I tried on one dress and was done.

Describe your wedding flowers. My florist was amazing. She did took my skeleton of an idea and made it gorgeous. The colors were soft–pale pinks, yellows, greens and some white. We used a bunch of gorgeous roses from Burton’s step-dad’s rose garden. I wanted to keep it loose and light for our casual, outdoor affair. The lake was already a great setting; I didn’t want to overdo it. Oh, and, she surprised me big time! Just before I walked out, she hit pause on everything and sprinkled white rose petals all the way down the sidewalk aisle and all over the boat dock. I had no idea. It was one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for me.

See, y’all! I can’t even look at Burton’s face in this photo without tearing up!

Did you decide to do a “first look”? Why or why not? No, we didn’t do a first look. My wedding planner suggested it was a good idea, especially to get rid of some of the jitters, but I liked the element of surprise. We shared everything at that point, and not many things were a surprise regarding the wedding. Burton didn’t know I was wearing my mom’s dress, and I wanted to see his face, among other family members, as I walked down the aisle. It was also such a small wedding that we knew we’d have plenty of time for pictures, etc., after the ceremony.
Did you write your own vows? If so, what was your favorite phrase, verse or line? We did not write our own vows. Our minister did a simple, traditional service.

What Southern details or traditions did you include in your celebration? What was Southern about your wedding? First and foremost, it was just family! Also, the food reflected an intimate, relaxed backyard elegance. At least, that’s how my caterer described it! She really set the Southern tone. We had tiny biscuits filled with chipotle pimento cheese and topped with crispy bacon as one of the delicious appetizers, fresh corn off the cob and cherry tomato relish, vanilla bean lemonade, and mason jar pies…to name a few. All family-style. I wore my mom’s dress–she was married at a church down the way in 1968 (45 years ago, this year!), and Burton wore a bow-tie.

We incorporated local flowers in my bouquet, including the roses from Burton’s step-father’s garden. And, the wedding was outside on Fort Loudon Lake formed by the Holston, French Broad and Tennessee Rivers.

Describe your wedding cake or dessert. For something summery, we had a lemon cake filled with blueberry buttercream, drizzled in honey glaze, topped with fresh cream and fresh blueberries. The rest of the dessert table was spectacular: basil-peach mason jar pies, classic Petit Fours, assorted French macarons, vanilla bean Whoopie pies filled with coconut ice cream, and orange-scented chocolate cake pops. Yum!

What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome while planning your wedding? Bugs love me. A couple of weeks before the wedding, I either got too many bug bites or some poison ivy on my leg. This is par for the course, but my dress was short! So, I worried about that, and then, I realized I was having an outdoor wedding by the water! Not sure what I was thinking. After being overly cautious with lawn treatments etc., it was a miracle that I didn’t get one (additional) bite. Thanks, Dad!

How did y’all meet? Tell us your love story. Burton is from Baton Rouge and moved to Knoxville in 8th grade. We had some mutual friends growing up in high school and college. I became good friends with his sister, Sarah, at UT Knoxville, and more so after both of us spent time living overseas. Several mutual friends mentioned over the years that Burton and I should get together. Burton likes to say I gave him the “Heisman” (think of the pose) for about 5+ years. Finally, we went on a date. The rest is history!
Tell us all about the proposal! After about two years of dating, we talked about getting engaged, but when it happened, I really had no idea it was coming. He got me! We were visiting his aunt in France. While we were touring around Paris, I gave him a hard time at every spot that looked romantic enough for a proposal…so, everywhere. I was kidding! Then we took a day trip to the Palace of Versailles. In the gardens, while trying to decide if we should rent a little row boat, I proceeded to give him the daily, “Well, this would be great place to propose…just sayin’.” We got the boat, it was hot, and I then began to tease him, rowing me around. I felt pretty guilty afterwards! Anyways, I didn’t understand why he was paddling longer than the fifteen minutes we’d paid for. He ignored me and asked me to look at something on the map in my purse, and when I looked up…voila!
When did y’all get married? June 8, 2013
How many friends, family members, and loved ones attended your wedding? About 25 family members
What readings, if any, did you have at your ceremony? Since we didn’t have any bridesmaids or groomsmen, I thought about having our sisters do a reading to include them as a special part of the ceremony. But, there was a 2-year old involved, and we just weren’t sure about how he’d do on the dock. My sister might have had to wrangle him at any moment, and we didn’t want just one of the three sisters missing, so we didn’t end up doing any readings.
Tell us about some of the songs you used throughout your wedding and why you chose them. We had a jazz pianist and his wife, who sang, and they were absolutely perfect for the setting. Great, relaxed background music. Our first dance was to a Frank Sinatra classic, “Fly Me to the Moon.” It was lovely, but I kept insisting that Burton be more “playful” with me, and Tara got a pretty good pic of my attempt. I think he felt the camera on him! My father-daughter dance was especially meaningful. At some point, during those tough high school years, my dad gave us all (three sisters) the Lee Ann Womack single, “I Hope You Dance.” I’ve never seen my mom cry so hard. They couldn’t believe I’d remembered.
Our favorite detail of the wedding was: Wearing my mom’s dress and having the ceremony on my parents’ dock! I couldn’t imagine wearing anything else or doing it any other way.
Did you have something borrowed, blue, old, and new? If so, do tell! Everything but blue. Something borrowed (and old) was my mom’s dress and veil. Something old (and borrowed) was a sixpence, from my mother-in-law’s friend, for my shoe. I had two pairs of shoes that I could not decide between: some 1960s shoes from a local, vintage clothing shop, and some new shoes. I wore both.
What is the one detail or vendor that you were so happy to have as a part of your wedding? Seriously, all of them! Everyone was so easy to work with and “got me,” even when I couldn’t fully describe what I wanted. Tara at Dixie Pixel made me feel so comfortable and captured the day perfectly. And, I am SO thankful for Colleen at White Orchid Bridal and that she gave me the opportunity to wear my mother’s dress! So special!!
What was your most memorable moment about your wedding day? Walking down the aisle of rose petals and standing there for the ceremony on the dock. Burton says, “The first time I saw you in your dress!!!” Also, dancing to a special song with my dad (and seeing my mom cry)…it was so sweet.
What advice do you have for folks currently planning a wedding? To each their own. Big or small. Do it the way you want. Surround yourself with family and friends who “get you.” And use vendors who are your speed! If you find a vendor you like, you should check out their recommendations for other vendors. I found one and everything else fell into place.
What’s next for you as a couple? What are you most looking forward to about married life? We are excited to try to start a family. That’s not for everyone right away, but we both waited a little while to get married…code: we’re (getting) old. I’m most looking forward to having a partner in life, through it all.

Even though Britt + Brad are from California, a wedding in either of their hometowns was a huge priority. Their lakeside nuptials captured the best of country rustic (Britt’s a country girl at heart!) with some nautically-inclined modern touches. I love how their big day feels like a meshing of their families and the new life they started on the west coast (and y’all tell me you don’t love those bright orange boutonnieres!). We’re serving up big hugs to Mandy Mohler, who shared this day with us.

We both felt very strongly about not doing a first look. We wanted the first time we saw each other to be when I was walking down the aisle. I’m so glad we did it that way. When the church doors opened, the sun was set perfectly that you could only see the silhouettes of my father and I at first. It was very dramatic and beautiful!

Tell us about finding your wedding dress.
Since I live in California and my family is back in the Midwest, my mom, sisters and I met in Chicago for a girl’s weekend. My dress was the first one I tried on at the third store. I must say, I almost went with the very first dress I tried on. There is something about seeing yourself in a wedding dress for the very first time that just takes your breath away. I’m so happy I continued looking though because I couldn’t love my dress more. It was perfect for both me and the setting of our wedding. It was a mermaid fit, organza with some gorgeous lace detail. I wish I could wear it again, I love it that much. Maybe I’ll put it on and just frolic around our living room for fun.

How cute are these little guys? Boys in seersucker always look like perfect Southern gents. And those teeny boutonnieres! Britt + Brad made a great fashion decision here, I think!

Did you write your own vows?
We didn’t write our own vows, but we both wrote notes to each other the morning of our wedding. My maid of honor and his best man made the delivery. I wrote Brad a letter expressing my love and admiration for him and vowing to never wear granny panties! He presented me with a flip-book that he drew with a sweet note at the end that brought both a tear and a laugh right before I walked down the aisle.

What readings, if any, did you have at your ceremony?
Our first reading was from the Book of Genesis. The second reading was from the first Letter of Saint John.

I had several pieces of “something borrowed.” It was extremely important to Brad and me that our reception felt very “us” – it oozed Britt and Brad! One of the things that bonded us from the beginning was our strong family values. We are both very close to our families and wanted to be sure to include several unique heirlooms and other meaningful details from our backgrounds. My grandmother passed away the year before we were engaged. Thankfully, Brad was able to meet her just months before she passed. I wanted to add a part of her to our ceremony, so I asked that her rosary be wrapped in my bouquet. One of my favorite moments was taking my bouquet in my hand and looking down at the rosary to find my late grandparents initials and wedding date engraved into the rosary. No one in my family realized the rosary was engraved, so it was a beautiful discovery to make on my own wedding day. Another special “something borrowed” was our cake server. It was the server my parents used on their wedding day and it was engraved with their names and wedding date. My “something new” were the pearl earrings Brad gave me on our rehearsal dinner night. I wore suede blue pumps with a white lace dress to our rehearsal dinner, which served as my something blue.

Brad and I both love to be near the water, so the decision to have our reception near a lake was arrived at pretty quickly. We wanted our wedding to resemble that of our ideal day — a summer day spent on the lake surrounded by family and friends. Although we live in California, we both felt it was important to hold our wedding near our families. The hardest part was choosing between my home state of Ohio and Montana where Brad’s family lives. After he took me to visit his favorite summer spot, Whitefish Lake, I was immediately on board for a Montana wedding. The location took my breath away and completely resembled our vision. As a total country girl at heart, I definitely wanted to incorporate some of those elements into our wedding. I was careful not to over-saturate the design with an abundance of mason jars and chalkboards but rather create a hybrid of country rustic and modern elegance. Tying the raw wood tables, rustic chandeliers and crisp white furniture with the natural beauty Montana has to offer created a relaxed, airy feeling.

Describe your wedding flowers.
I choose beautiful square wood tables with burlap wrapped centerpieces boasting an array of colorful ranunculus, dahlias, delphinium, hydrangeas and kangaroo paw. Our amazing florist, Cara at Mum’s Flowers captured our vision and color palette so perfectly. Hammered metal chargers, varying heights of mercury and glass votives, and photos of sentimental Los Angeles locations that served as our table names completed our table-scape. Crisp white lounge furniture paired with the rustic tables added a modern touch to the country feel and really popped off the lake.

Tell us about some of the songs you used throughout your wedding and why you chose them.
Our prelude music was “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz.Even though our ceremony took place in a Catholic church, we wanted to add some modern music. The prelude was just the place to do it! “I’m Yours” is such a beautiful and happy song. For the wedding party processional, we played “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring.” I walked down to Canon in D. Our recessional was to Trumpet Voluntary. The opening song to our cocktail hour was “Toes” by Zac Brown Band (Such a feel good song and a great way to kick off the party! We also printed some of the lyrics to this song on our cocktail napkins). The introduction of the bridal party was “Good Feeling” by Flo Rida. Our first dance was to “Crazy Girl” by Eli Young Band. Brad and I love this song and it felt very “us.” The father-daughter dance was “I Loved Her First” by Heartland. Years ago, before I even met Brad, my dad and I were driving in the car together and this song came on the radio. He looked at me and said, “I want to dance to this song at your wedding one day.” As we danced, my dad sang every word to me through the tears. It was quite emotional! The mother-son dance was “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd

Montana is known for huckleberries, so we went with an orange cream cake with huckleberry fruit and vanilla cream filling. It was delish! My mouth waters just thinking about it!

What was your most memorable moment about your wedding day?
Brad and I had decided that in order to save some money, we would wait until our first anniversary to purchase my wedding band and use my engagement ring during our ceremony instead. After the priest had blessed the rings, Brad slipped both my engagement and my wedding band on my finger. It was a well-kept secret that only my mom and the best man were in on. (Jason, our best man, was careful to cup his hand while the priest was blessing the rings so that I wouldn’t see the wedding band). I was completely surprised and immediately teared up. It was such a sweet moment.

What advice do you have for folks currently planning a wedding?
Don’t sweat the small stuff! You will be so blissfully happy on your day that those little stressors won’t even matter. If you are having a destination wedding, determine how many days in advance you want to arrive. Got that day in mind? Okay, now add one extra day to that! The travel nightmares we endured prior to our wedding taught us that! Let’s just say three re-routed flights, a rented car, a four-hour drive and two days later, we finally arrived in Montana.

How did y’all meet? Tell us your love story. (From the bride) My mom and my sister-in-law both told me when you find the one, you’ll know. I didn’t believe it until I met Brad. Everything with us clicked from the very beginning. It took me less than six months to realize he was the one. We actually met a couple of times through mutual friends about eight months before we started dating. It wasn’t until months later, when the timing was right, that we realized there was something very special between us. Our first date was more of a marathon date. Lunch turned into a matinee movie, which led to a sunset walk on the beach in Malibu. Neither of us wanted the day to end so we decided to have dinner and go for ice cream too! About six months after our first date, it was my turn to meet the family. We made the long road trip from LA to Montana to spend Thanksgiving with the Johnson family. Still loving each other after an 18-hour car ride is a good sign I’d say! Seeing him with his family and in his element, I knew this was the man I was going to marry. I fell more in love with him during that trip than I ever thought was possible. We are so alike in many ways but also so different in others. I wear my heart on my sleeve. Brad is much less of an open book. Brad is very laid back and has a creative spirit whereas I am more “type A.” I keep Brad organized and he keeps me from taking life too seriously. Whenever I’m stressed, Brad will do or say something silly to put a smile on my face. I know Brad will keep me young at heart even when I’m old and gray. He is my very best friend. He loves me at my best and worst. He is my safe place, and makes everything just little bit better and brighter. (From the groom) I never expected to meet someone special while I lived in LA. The LA adventure was mainly just for a diverse work experience and to enjoy some sunny SoCal weather. But, just over a year after moving here, I met Britt. As soon as we started dating, I knew she was the one for me. We complemented each other in so many ways the more and more we got to know each other. It seemed that everything that was dear to me — family, friends, and faith — were equally important to her. And as we’re always in an ever-evolving relationship, I feel loved and challenged by her to be a better, stronger, and more thoughtful person as every day passes.
Tell us all about the proposal!
Brad had been traveling for work for the last four months. Thankfully, his company flew him home on many weekends, but it still made for a long, lonely four months apart. When his out-of-state project was finally over, Brad planned something special for us for his first weekend back. He told me he wanted to rent a luxury convertible for the day and cruise the Southern California coastline. That alone sounded fun to me! Little did I know all that he had planned for the weekend. The night before our little road trip, Brad told me what I should pack for our getaway. I was pretty excited because I didn’t even know we were staying overnight! As we started our drive that gorgeous Saturday morning in July, my mind started racing as to where we could be going. For a moment, I thought we just might be headed to the airport to fly somewhere, but then that exit passed so I started brainstorming other possibilities. As we started nearing one of my favorite resorts in Newport Beach, I thought there was no way that’s where we were going, but sure enough! Brad says the look on my face when he turned into Pelican Hill’s entrance was priceless. When we opened the door to our gorgeous villa, there were champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries waiting for us. We then walked down to the beach where Brad got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. It was a magical and perfectly planned weekend. I am definitely the planner in our relationship, so I was pretty proud of him for pulling this one off!
When did y’all get married?

How many friends, family, and loved ones attended your wedding?
100
Our favorite detail of the wedding was:
It is so hard to pick just one! Our escort card display was pretty amazing. My talented hubby handcrafted a small wooden rowboat from which we hung the escort cards. It was about 3 feet tall and sat on our entry table. The table also included photographs of our parents on their wedding day, a Polaroid camera, a wooden guest book and an old German suitcase. Our guests really enjoyed the interactive guest book station.
What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome while planning your wedding? The biggest challenge we faced was planning our wedding from afar. We only made one trip to Montana to pick our location and meet with vendors. All the planning was done from California. It was a challenge, but we would do it again in a heartbeat!
What is the one detail or vendor that you were so happy to have as a part of your wedding?
Our vendors were truly amazing. We feel very blessed to have had all of them be a part of our day. Mandy Mohler, our photographer, created such a fun environment for our photo sessions. Our guests said she felt like part of the family. Our DJ was a huge hit. The Party Store pulled together our vision with their gorgeous furniture and decor. Tim Lannaghan, our Banquet Manager at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, was an absolute delight to work with. He is exactly the person you want in charge of your reception. He is calm, accommodating and always has a can-do attitude. We could really go on and on about how great he is. Without him, I don’t know that our reception would have been as perfect as it was! We want to give a huge thank-you to all over our vendors who made our day so special.
What’s next for you as a couple? What are you looking forward to in the future?
We are enjoying married life and looking forward to lots of travel before we hear the pitter patter of little feet! We are planning a trip to Europe for next summer and hope to buy our first home sometime next year as well.

We love every bride we have the pleasure of featuring on Southern Weddings, but today’s bride is particularly special — because we know her personally! And y’all do, too! Or at least our long time readers do. Some of you may recognize Caroline’s pretty face from V3’s hot air balloon shoot. We loved Miss Caroline so much we asked her back for a V4 shoot, and this time, her boyfriend Lionel came along, too. While we were hoping Lionel would propose at the shoot (no luck), we did hear that he had popped the question a few weeks later, and we’ve been waiting to see their wedding photos ever since!

The photos are in, and now we get to share them with you! From Caroline’s relaxed waves and adorable braid-halo to the absolutely stunning light in Melissa Schollaert’s beautiful photographs, I love the organic and fresh feeling of Caroline + Lionel’s jewel-tone nuptials. Aside from each and every pretty detail you can see on this page, I can’t pass up mentioning how fun and unique C + L’s music was! Caroline said they chose music from their favorite movies, including Legends of the Fall, Father of the Bride, The Cider House Rules, and Braveheart. Such a fun way to incorporate their personalities into the fabric of their big day!

WOAH, nelly! Can we please stop and stare at Caroline’s grandmother’s to-die-for ring she rocked on her big day?

Okay, moving on!

Tell us about finding your wedding dress: I knew I wanted to find something classic and fitted with some lace and also something that would look good in the fall outdoors. I went with my sister just to look at a store that was closing in the area (Priscilla’s of Boston) and I ended up purchasing a brand new dress on sale. I knew it was the one because I looked and felt like a bride! (I’m actually selling it here.)

Describe your wedding flowers: My aunt did the flowers and we went with a lot of white (roses, ranunculus, hydrangeas, lilies), touches of purples (calla lilies), and some greenery (baby’s breath). They were all so beautiful! I think my aunt has a new career!

Tell us about some of the songs you used throughout your wedding.  The music was very unique throughout the wedding. We played a lot of music from our favorite movies (Legends of the Fall, Father of the Bride, The Cider House Rules, and Braveheart). Growing up and listening to the Legends of the Fall soundtrack, I knew one day I would walk down the aisle to it. My sister did it too. We also had a musician perform our favorite praise and worship song, “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)” by Matt Redman during the ceremony.

Did you decide to do a “first look”? Yes, I love taking pictures and I wanted to make sure we could get as many in as possible! Lionel was thrilled too! Those were some of my favorite pictures of the entire wedding and such a special moment to watch on the wedding video. We also got to spend more time at the cocktail hour with our friends and family.

Did you write your own vows?  We didn’t state the traditional wedding vows, but we put together ones that fit us better personally. “I Caroline take you Lionel to be my best friend, my faithful partner, and my one true love.” They were more intimate because they were really geared toward us as a couple.

What readings, if any, did you have at your ceremony? My little sister read Colossians 3:12-17 and my grandmother read Deuteronomy 6:5-9. It was so sweet to hear both of them speak during the ceremony, and for them to read some of my favorite verses on marriage and love. My grandparents have been married 62 years and counting. They are so special to me!

Our favorite detail of the wedding was: For me, it was the ceremony. It couldn’t have been more perfect — the setting on the lake, the cross, the weather, the breeze, the music and of course, marrying Lionel! Tyler, my brother-in law who introduced us, was the officiant. He did an awesome job lightening the mood with his humor. I remember his first line: “Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to witness my debut as a wedding officiant!” We also loved how the tent turned out. The lighting was so beautiful along with the farm tables and mahogany chairs! We brought the ballroom outside!

Describe your wedding cake or dessert: It was the best cake I ever tasted and it was very pretty too! I wanted something simple but tasty and it was perfection! We had three layers with different flavors: White chocolate with Nutella filling, chocolate pistachio with milk chocolate mocha buttercream and Italian cream with Nutella filling. We couldn’t even wait until our one year anniversary to eat our saved toped layer! It lasted about a week.

What Southern details or traditions did you include in your celebration?  What was Southern about your wedding? The food! Cheese grits and short ribs for dinner, fried mac ‘n’ cheese balls and crab cakes for appetizers. The décor was also Southern. We had hay bales, vintage window panels for seating assignments and the outdoor venue. Also, we played country music at the reception. We also had a Southern-themed rehearsal dinner the night before with hay seating, a low country boil, sunflowers, and sweet tea in mason jars.

How did the two of you meet?  Tell us your story. We meet through my brother in-law, Tyler, who was trying to play matchmaker. Tyler and Lionel had a mutual friend in the Army and would often hang out together. Both of my sisters had already met Lionel and approved so I was less hesitant. Lionel, however, thought the safest way to communicate with me was on my birthday through Facebook, a week before his deployment to Afghanistan. In Lionel’s words, “Upon Caroline accepting my friend request and looking at her pictures, I immediately regretted waiting so long to communicate with her, Tyler had obviously done a poor job describing her.” Lionel arrived in Afghanistan and was excited to have email connections so he could communicate with me. Long story short, Lionel decided to write me an email hoping for a response, and we ended up writing each other every day throughout his three-month deployment! The first weekend he got back, we met for the first time and the rest was history!
Describe the proposal.
I’m an avid golfer so the first weekend we met, I insisted that we play golf. We made a bet that if I won, then he owed me a date in Charleston where I didn’t have to make any decisions. Well I won the golf match and almost a year later I got my surprise weekend date in Charleston where Lionel proposed on the beach. It’s kind of cool to think the bet we made on our first date ended with me wining a proposal!
In what month did you get married? October
How many guests attended your wedding? 100
What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome while planning your wedding? I did all the planning throughout the entire engagement. There are so many details and tasks to accomplish right before the wedding that can become stressful. We did hire a coordinator/planner for the day of so that was helpful for me!
What range did your wedding budget fall into?  $25,000-$50,000
What is the one thing you are most happy you splurged on? The lighting, tables and chairs, videographer, and photographer!
What advice do you have for folks currently planning a wedding? Make a list of what’s most important for both the bride and groom. For me, it was the pictures, ambiance and food. For Lionel, it was the atmosphere, wine and the food. Also, take pictures from magazines and Pinterest to every vendor appointment so everyone is on the same page. When the caterer asks you how you want your napkins folded, you already have thought of it and have a picture!
What’s next for you as a couple?  What are you looking forward to in the future?  We are looking forward to Lionel graduating in May with his MBA. We will be moving to Houston, TX where Lionel will start work. I continue to travel a lot with my modeling career. We are seeing a house full of kids happening in a few years once we get settled.

Beautiful wedding! Love the Southern decor details (magnolia leaves, lanterns, etc), especially the tablescapes. Elegant without being fussy.

Love the bridesmaid dresses. What is the style number of the dress with the cap sleeves? Were they added after purchase?

    • avatar Nicole reply

Hi Kathy! That bridesmaid dress looks closest to the CHIFFON G736C style from Amsale. Hope that helps!

what color does amsale call this??

    • avatar Kathy C reply

Jane: They call it eggplant–the chiffon is slightly lighter than the lining because of the way the die takes, but it’s really pretty in person and seems to photograph better than darker purples.
