When it comes to telling your story through your wedding, everything from your invitation suite to the flavor of your cake can help communicate something to your guests. In turn, your favorite details you choose for your wedding can create their own story–for example, if you fill your bouquet with gardenias, their scent will transport you back to that day, even years later. That’s why we love the idea of looking for inspiration everywhere, and in this case, we were inspired by Donna Morgan’s blue floral Stephanie dress. Its tone-on-tone palette is gorgeous for a wedding, but it would certainly serve as lovely newlywed home inspiration long after the big day! Here’s an inspiration board for the sweet, elegant, early summer celebration we envision this dress being a part of.

Did I tell you how much I love the blue in this Virgil Bunao wedding? Emily + Brian dressed up Legare Waring House’s already beautiful lawn with flowing linens, floral patterned table runners and string lights. The cocktail tables interspersed throughout the dinner tables carries over the bold shade of blue we love while the cake, courtesy of The Cake Stand, seamlessly mirrored the wedding decor. I’m so happy to see that the couple included a game of corn hole at their wedding, complete with their monogram — because if that isn’t Southern, I don’t know what is!

See all the photos from Emily + Brian’s wedding in their Real Wedding Gallery!

Describe your wedding cake: It was seamlessly intertwined into our wedding décor and decorated with white, cobalt blue and powder blue. It was delicious chocolate, key lime, and carrot cake.
What is the one thing you are most happy you splurged on? Our photographer! Virgil Bunao Fine Arts wedding photography captured every special moment and emotion that I will be able to reflect back on for a lifetime.
What was your most memorable moment about your wedding day? The feeling of having all of our friends and family in the same place sharing in our celebration. The amount of love present in one place was incredible.
What’s next for you as a couple? What are you looking forward to in the future? We are extremely excited to start our life together. We look forward to many adventures to come and to taking on the world together.

Working on getting you a source, Lindsey! We’ll update as soon as we know. But in the meantime, aren’t they amazing?!

Hi Lindsey! Thank you so much for your patience! I finally have an answer, though it’s probably not the one you want — they were made by the bride and groom! Darn those crafty couples :)

Thus far, I have had 2 brides this year use cornhole for entertainment for their guests – 1 had a Miami Dolphins set and the other had a combo of UGA & UF colors. HOWEVER, I looooove this personalized monogram! woo! Doesn’t get much more southern than that, I will certainly suggest that to my next couple.

Id also like to add that those table runners are exquisite! just love em!
