Google+ Southern Style :: Wedding Week Wardrobe, Part II - Southern Weddings

Southern Weddings

And I’m back with some more Wedding Week Wardrobe goodness for you to munch on, so let’s jump right in!

Getting ready photos might just be some of my favorite images. I’m a sucker for pin-curls – they look so glamorous! When it comes to your wedding morning, you’ll want to be comfortable and relaxed (not to mention cute, as most photographers arrive when you’re still getting ready!). That being said, there are many options to choose from, including my personal favorite, the chic (and a bit sexy I might add) Plum Pretty Sugar Loungerie. Their kimono robes take getting ready style to a whole new pretty level. Be sure that whatever you are wearing can easily slide over your head without messing up your hair and makeup. Scoobie West, who made KTW to-die-for-gorgeous on her wedding day, suggests only wearing a strapless bra the morning of your wedding to ensure you don’t end up with imprints from your straps once you put on your dress!

Custom and chic? Yes, please! Our Getting Ready Shopping Guide will have you pretty in your PJ’s:

A. Plum Pretty Sugar Beckoning Creatures Kimono Robe ($65), B. Bridal Party Tees Custom Rhinestone Bride Tee ($33.97), C. The Wedding Chicks Monogram Arrow Heart Tank ($32), D. Three Hip Chicks Personalized Bath Wrap ($43), E. Custom Spa Spa Spa Robe ($69.99).

As your wedding day winds down, don’t forget to pack a few special wardrobe pieces for behind closed doors. Be sure whatever you wear makes you feel comfortable and confident. That is, after you get done jumping on the bed with your honey!

Last but not least, we’ve rounded up a few of our favorite unmentionables for a stylish Wedding Night Shopping Guide:

A. Victoria’s Secret “The Lacie” Slip ($48), B. Hanky Panky “Mrs” Panties ($28), C. BHLDN Knotted Gamine Bra ($58), D. Anthropologie Swept Asea Set ($136).

Are you planning on or have you worn a custom getting ready tee? Did you match your maids? I want to hear from you!

Happy shopping, y’all!
