Neutrals can definitely be a gorgeous wedding combination when done in a fresh new way as Gia of {betsywhite Stationery} shows us today. There is nothing more elegant and classic then black and white paired together and with the addition of another neutral to create a different feel to this gorgeous pairing of colors. From Gia: Adding Camel to black and white is a great way to add a bit of a modern twist to this always-elegant combination. This palette of neutral tones will never look outdated. It’s young, fresh and classic and would work well with just about any wedding style. In this case, we’re going for a preppy look.
The bride and bridesmaids: With this palette, there are many options for the bridesmaids: they can wear black, camel or ivory dresses. Simple white bouquets tied with black ribbon would work well against any of those dresses. The bride could wear a white or ivory gown with a bouquet in shades of white.
The groom and groomsmen: The groom could wear a Camel-colored suit with a white shirt and black tie. Perhaps the groomsmen could wear black sport coats with camel pants and white shirts, so they don’t look exactly like the groom.
Accents and Details: Tabletops would look great with floral centerpieces in shades of ivory in black vases on crisp white linens. A white cake with scalloped details and delicate black accents would add to the preppy look and coordinate beautifully with this invitation.
