Southern Weddings

This week is Gia from {betsywhite Stationery}‘s last color palette post with us. It has been such a joy featuring her work on our blog each week for the past 12 weeks. Hello everyone! Well, this will be my last guest post here on Southern Weddings – I can’t believe it’s been three months already! I figured I would end my guest stint with a cheery palette…something that reflects the sunny days, afternoon rain showers and fresh feeling the weather brings during that transition from spring to summer.

Thanks again to the ladies of Southern Weddings for inviting me to be a part of the team for a bit and thanks to the readers for indulging my color experiments for the past several weeks. If you’d like to see more, feel free to stop by my blog {Flights of Fancy} any time – I’d love to have you!

The bride and bridesmaids: The bride could carry a colorful bouquet of pink peonies and succulents. A pair of leaf green shoes would add a bit of whimsy. Bridesmaids would look lovely in green dresses of different shades.
The groom and groomsmen: Light-colored suits for the men. Perhaps the groomsmen could wear aloe-colored ties while the groom wears the more vibrant leaf green. Little succulent boutonnieres would add a nice touch.
Accents and Details: Succulents and peonies are such a great combination for centerpieces. Containers of wheatgrass could also be incorporated into the décor.
