http://www.cufflinks.com/geshcu.htmlMy fiance would love these gear-shifting cufflinks! He is obsessed with his GTO, and we equate his love of cars to my love of weddings–we take a weekly trip to the bookstore to check out what new car (and wedding) magazines have come out! :)

I would get my fiance the spinning globe cuff links. He is so adorably obsessed with geography. He knows the capital of every country, every province.. of everything. He loves it. He is so cute when he talks about it. His face lights up, he gets this childish grin and when he does that my heart fills with love and my body fills with warmth. I bought him a globe for Christmas and wrote a little note about how I gave him the world. I’d love to do it again.http://www.cufflinks.com/enamel-spinning-globe-cufflinks.html

I would choose the American Flag Flip Bar Cufflinks because my husband to be is Swedish and I am good ol’ American! We are now living in Stockholm for the time being so I think it would be a hoot for him to be representing his future bride’s country. Maybe I can find a pair of Swedish flag cufflinks and he can wear one Swedish and one USA cufflink in each sleeve.

I would love to surprise my fiancee with Longhorns cufflinks: http://www.cufflinks.com/texloncuf.htmlNot only is he a fan, but we met in Texas as children. We attended 1st-3rd grades together and, in ’90, we both moved (he to one coast, I to the other). Seventeen years later, we happened to be living in the same county in TN and were both divorcing. We hit it off and are now planning to be married next June! The cufflinks would be a sweet, yet subtle reminder of being small children, growing up in Navy families in Texas and shooting marbles in the dirt during recess. :)

http://www.cufflinks.com/dubucu.htmlI would give the bulldog cufflinks to my fiance, I have a bulldog, and the way he takes care of my dog proves to me everyday what a great husband and father he is going to be. Waking up middle of night because he is sickly is not a problem, getting up at dawn to take him for walk, even on weekends is perfectly fine with him, soothing him while he is getting his shots, everything….

http://www.cufflinks.com/elgucu.htmlMy fiancé is constantly reaching for one of his 6 guitars, and these cuff links look just like one I bought him for his birthday last summer. He only started playing a couple years ago, but he had improved from the point of knowing nothing to being able to hear a brand new song and start playing along within hearing a few lines. Plus, these match our black and white color scheme!

I would get him these super fun cat cuff links. I gave him his cat (Magee) for our 4 yr anniversary ago and he gave me mine (Baxter) for our 8 yr anniversary this past year. He is a total cat person, we both are, and he has a great sense of humor (one reason I definitely want to spend the rest of my life with him). Unfortunately, my mom does not share the same sense of humor and vetoed his giant cat grooms cake idea. Too reminiscent of the hilarious giant armadillo red velvet cake in Steel Magnolias for her, I guess. The one thing he is supposed to get choose, poor guy! This way he could at least have his cats incorporated into the wedding!http://www.cufflinks.com/catcufflinks.html

Not only is my fiance, Jon, a recent cufflink convert (something I love to encourage) but we are getting married in a month in Louisville, Kentucky, where nothing is more appropriate than a symbol of our beloved horseracing- beautiful horses! We both went to school in Lexington, so we have cultivated our love of going to the races over the years at both Keeneland and Churchill. Finally, Jon is a professional glass blower, and his most recent line of work has been sculpting race horses! These are perfect.

http://www.cufflinks.com/flyfisreelcu.htmlThe fly fishing reel cufflinks are fantastic!! My fiance is obsessed with fly fishing. Actually, I’m not sure obsessed adequately describes his passion and commitment to this hobby – he lives and breathes fly fishing. His fish of choice, is a trout, be it a Rainbow, Brown, Brooke or Cutthroat. He ties all his own flies; he reads only fly fishing books and magazines; he collects antique fly fishing equipment; he watches fly fishing on TV; he practices casting in the yard; he named his canoe “The Trout Stalker;” and he has a collection of fly rods and reels that put my handbag collection to shame. In the five years since I’ve known him he’s taken fly fishing trips all over Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Florida, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Montana, Wyoming, Pennsylvania, Alaska and Colorado (just to name a few) and is constantly searching for his next fishing adventure. He’s even gotten me involved in fly fishing – I received my very own pair of waders and fishing boots for my birthday a few years ago and I have a pink fishing pole! We’ve even decided to get married in an old fly fishing lodge (converted into an elegant ranch) in Jackson Hole, Wyoming – home to some of the best fly fishing in the world. Your fly fishing reel cufflinks would be the perfect accessory for my avid fisherman.

Hello Ladies!! It was hard to choose between a beach set (we’re getting married in OBX of NC), golf set for our favorite thing to do together, money set for his career as a banker or a traditional wedding set. I had to go with the drum cufflinks here: http://www.cufflinks.com/drumcufflinks.htmlMy fiance is a musician at heart (banker by day) and we met in high school marching band. I thought he was cute and he was too scared to talk to me. Since we started dating, he’s written several songs about me, for me. While he’ll be marrying me, his forever love, I don’t want him to forget his first love, HIS DRUMS!

We’re going as Mario and Luigi for Halloween! ;) I don’t know if I could really afford to get them for him but I think he would totally love them! They are amazing- they even have the little nunchuk shape on the other side!

I would get fiancee’ the drum cufflinks. He and I met in the Drum and Bugle Corps activity. It was something that was a HUGE part of his life for many many years…he still drums on his drum pad to "relieve’ stress daily. I think he would really dig these! Further 4 of the 6 groomsmen are drummers and they’d be SOOOO jealous. =)http://www.cufflinks.com/drumcufflinks.html

my fiance, in his first year of residency Emergency Medicine and active duty in the army, is working so hard to make our wedding dreams come true. How much would it make him smile to see the medical cufflinks as his wedding day present? I’d love to give them to him, especially after how hard he works, we always find ways to make each other smile :)

My fiance is in med school, so I’d have to go with one of the medical themed cuff links. However, my brother, who is newly engaged, is a pilot, so I’d also love a set of the prop plane cufflinks! There are tons of unique cuff links!

http://www.cufflinks.com/stercheccuf.htmlMy fiance loves dirt track racing. He has a long history in it, his father raced before he was born. The night Justin was born his dad went to the track and won the feature, paying the bills and having a little extra left over. He grew up helping his dad work on this car and now has a car of his own which his dad helps with. For over 6 years now I have also helped him and have fallin’ in love with the races as I fell for him. Justin proposed at Texas Motor Speedway in Victory Lane last December, this would just help bring our theme of our life to our wedding in June.

I would love to give Dave these monogrammed cufflinks with our initials engraved on them and since it’s a locket I would put a picture of his son on one side and the latest sonogram of our baby on the other. He’s a long haired ,golf playing, wine drinking, music man but he’s also a very classy guy. these just seemed to be something special that could be handed down. <http://www.cufflinks.com/enlocu.html>

http://www.cufflinks.com/atbravcuf.htmlAtlanta Braves cufflinks for my man! He moved from Atlanta to my tiny small town just to be with me and misses his team so much! http://www.cufflinks.com/rushcu.htmlThese sneaker cufflinks would be the perfect addition to my fiance’s wedding attire. Not only does he own a sneaker boutique, but we’ve combined our traditional wedding cake and groomscake into a sneaker/manolo cake with tiered shoeboxes. Even our invitations and programs are based around his love for sneakers. He’s the perfect winner for this contest!

  53. avatar elizabeth reply

Definitely the scales of justice! http://www.cufflinks.com/sterscalofju.htmlHe’s a prosecutor, and he’s in one of the few jurisdictions in the Commonwealth that does not give the prosecutors badges (they are officers of the peace)! I think they look like little badges for lawyers. He could wear them and get a little "respect my authority!" warm fuzzy feeling.

  54. avatar Ashley reply

I would get these engravable cufflinks: http://www.cufflinks.com/recencuf.html. They are the same shape as my engagement ring, so it’d be neat to engrave on them what’s engraved inside miy ring. I love that it would link us together in another small but special way that only the two of us would really know about.

When I met Gerard his English was very limited. In addition to his bi-weekly English courses, television proved to be a tremendous help in perfecting his language skills. Every evening he would return home from work, plant himself in front of the TV, and watch back-to-back re-runs of Simpsons, Friends and Scrubs.Suffice to say, while the shows were great for his comprehension skills, they certainly expanded his vocabulary in some interesting ways. One evening, well before "I love yous" had ever been exchanged, he looked shyly at me, and said "you’re my lobster". Apparently he’d recently watched the Friends episode where Phoebe compares Ross and Rachel to a pair of old lobsters, walking around their tank claw in claw, and thought "lobsters" was a common English metaphor for soul-mates!It took everything in me not to buckle over in hysterics, and tell him back that he too, was my "lobster".I still call him lobster to this day, though I prefer using it in his native Italian (‘aragosta’ sounds much better than ‘lobster’ as a pet name, no?), and that’s why I would love him to have these lobster cufflinks:http://www.cufflinks.com/lobcuf.htmlWhile we may not be lobsters, I look forward to walking together "claw in claw" for the rest of our lives.

http://www.cufflinks.com/fepacu.htmlI would get my fiance the fenway park cufflinks. They are made of actual seats from the park! As a die hard Red Sox fan he would absolutely love this! When we first got engaged and started to realize how much our wedding was going to cost, my fabulous fiance looked at me and said, I won’t go to any games this year or next to save money for the wedding. Since I know this team is his passion it was definately a sacrafice! I will say though, I wanted a fall wedding, but we are set for early November, just in case the Sox make the playoffs in October :)

http://www.cufflinks.com/stchcucu.htmlMy husband-to-be is a HUGE Chicago fan, and is proud of having rooted for the Cubs while growing up on the south side. http://www.cufflinks.com/dovecufflinks1.htmlThe dove cufflinks, for several reasons. 1. The dove is the symbol for the holy spirit in Christianity, and our faith is very important to both of us. 2. We’re going for this whole "fly away with us" theme for our wedding, since 90% of our guests are from out of town, so it would be a fun nod to that (and would coordinate with other bird elements at our reception, like the escort card board). 3. Josh knows that I love birds, and I collect little bird items. Our first Christmas, two months after we started dating, he included a little bird figurine in my Christmas gift.

http://www.cufflinks.com/haandsawcu.htmlMy finance Jonathan and I met in architecture school. I finished two years ago but he will not graduate until December. He is working on his thesis that he will present on November 17th and has been working so hard! His birthday was yesterday and we couldn’t even celebrate because he was in the studio! Because his thesis presentation is so quickly approaching we do not get to see each other very much right now but I keep a great photo of him on my desktop at work. It is a photo of him working on a project in Nova Scotia where he was building a small barn for horses – the photo is of him throwing a hammer just like this one in the air to show off and do a trick for me! It’s such a great photo and he loved his time spent there working on this barn that I think this cufflink set would just make him and I both think of that great time in his life. We are getting married in May and he will have graduated by then (hopefully! :) but we are so into our work that building and architecture will always be a huge part of our life together. I think that these would be a really special birthday/ graduation/ all done thesis gift for him!

When we spent 3/4 of our first conversation debating the meaning of communication, I thought "he must be a lawyer!" He wasn’t then, but after 10 years of working in the tech sector, he’s chasing his dreams and starting law school. I would get him the Scales of Justice cuff links to remind him how proud I am of his willingness to take a leap of faith to do what he’s always wanted to do!http://www.cufflinks.com/scalofjuscuf.html

I’m entering on the last day of the contest, but I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to surprise my fiance with the Hand Painted Greek Drachma cufflinks here: http://www.cufflinks.com/hapagrdrcu.htmlWe started dating in Greece (it sounds fancy – but we were on a school trip) and the first present he ever bought me as a girlfriend was one pull at a drachma-operated casino slot machine since I, in my infinite wisdom, had completely forgotten to change my money into drachmas!!! My slot machine didn’t win, but we’ve been dating ever since so I think I’d call myself lucky anyway :).We have kind of a crazy first-date story so I can’t believe I found something so perfect for a wedding present. It’d be so great if I could return the favor and give him something drachma-inspired on our wedding day.

It would be great to give him these on our wedding day to show all the things that we will be able to do together in our new life!
