I would use the canvas print to have one of my engagement photos put on display at my reception. Our engagement photos were taken when my fiance was home on leave from Iraq, and we got a few photos of the two of us with him in uniform that mean so much to us. I would love to be able to share that moment with our guests on our big day!

My sister- and brother-in-law have this incredible canvas picture hanging in their living room of a silhouette of them in front of a sunset on their wedding day on the top of a cliff over the ocean. How perfect! I hope my fiance and I can capture something similar with a Phoenix flare because I would love to hang something like that in our home.

  3. avatar Cassidy reply

Our wedding venue is AMAZING, and my favorite part of the whole day. I would love a canvas of the location to hang over our fireplace for years to come.

  4. avatar Michelle reply

I LOVE this blog!!!Anyways, I haven’t found my beloved yet, so I would simply take a picture of myself and my lovely sister to have printed.

  5. avatar Michelle @ My Wedding Report reply

I would use our favorite picture of the wedding day to make a canvas print. I would create a special wall to display it. I love wooden initials and would use our M&M arranged creatively around the canvas. It would look perfect hanging on the wall next to our kitchen table that Mark just built as our first piece of furniture.

My fiance and I have a photo that I just LOVE…it was taken in our favourite coffee shop (which happens to be quite a romantic little spot, with great decor and all kinds of fabulous tasty smells :)I would use the 16 x 20 canvas, and suspend it over the area where we plan to set up our "Espresso & Pastry Bar" at our engagement dinner party :)

  7. avatar Emily reply

I would use the canvas print to print a pic of my fiance and I and our families at our wedding.

  8. avatar katie reply

I would defiantly use a poster of a photo of our wedding as decor to commemorate our big day. We are renovating our house ourselves and have just put up a wall in out sitting room that has a great spot for a piece of art. What better than a super cool Millie Holloman picture from our wedding day?! We just installed a light fixture that illuminates that area perfectly.

  9. avatar sommerwithano reply

I can’t do this since I am already engaged, and I wasn’t the one who did the proposing, but I think this would have been a wonderful way to be proposed to. I would have LOVED to have come home to find a gorgeously huge (16×20!) close up pic of my soon-to-be engagement ring in its open box hanging above my bed in a candle lit room…I think there are lots of great uses for this as an engagement idea!

For some reason the ONLY decorating aspect of our entire apartment that my fiance has any opinion on is the picture over our mantle–he absolutely loves this photo of us from five years ago, which is currently on top of the mantle. I have begged him to put up something more recent, but he only agreed to putting up a recent engagment or wedding (this August) picture. I would LOVE to win this great prize so we can finally agree on the one picture everyone sees when they come over to visit! :) Thank you so much for doing this giveaway!

Our reception location is a "blank canvas" and I would love to have a few of our engagement pictures blown up and hung on the walls. What a great way to personalize the space!http://www.sweetcarolinabride.blogspot.com

I got married in December and my husband and I are about to move far, far, away from my hometown (also a college town where both of us attended school). I would love, love to have a poster print of our favorite picture of town/campus to remind us of home.

  13. avatar Krystle reply

I would LOVE to have a canvas with one of the beautiful Engagement photos that Punam Bean took for us. I have the perfect wall for the canvas in our Living room!

  14. avatar Alison reply

We’re having our rehearsal dinner at home. To freshen the space, we’ve thought about removing some pictures from the walls (my father’s paintings of golf courses, mostly) and replacing them with pictures of the two of us for the evening. Our engagement pictures would pop on canvas. We thought this might be a clever way to turn an ordinary space into something unique and personal.

  15. avatar Amanda W reply

My favorite photographer is doing our engagement pictures at the end of this month, and I am SO excited about them! I know I’ll want to have one on a canvas for us to use at the reception & then to hang in our home after we’re married! It will be a great reminder of this happy time in our lives – being engaged and so full of love for each other!

  16. avatar Angelique reply

oohhh…………how awesome. I’m not really a big canvas kind of girl, but we loved one of our engagement pictures so much…we’ve had a change of heart! I would LOVE to put one of them up on display at our wedding! Perhaps hang it suspended from a tree?

  17. avatar Karen B. reply

On our wedding day, my son from my first marriage joined hands with us during the recessional. We walked back down the aisle as a new family, and a lovely photo captured this moment. I would love to have a canvas print of this image for our new home to celebrate our new start together.

  18. avatar Rachel reply

We plan to use several canvases at our wedding reception for decoration and to honor our "kids" who can’t be present. My fiance and I have two boxers, Zhor and Paisley, who won’t be making the wedding ceremony and reception for obvious reasons, though our Pastor’s children want to dress them up and walk them down the aisle as the ring bearer and flower girl :). Instead, we are going to print some fun canvases of them showing their personalities and place them on the guest table where they can "greet" everyone as they come in! ~ Rachel

  19. avatar Brittany Hensley reply

I *LOVE* Canvas prints. They make a bolder statement than traditional framed pictures. I would probably have the picture of us getting engaged at Niagara Falls. It would complement the other pictures at our reception. A canvas print would give justice to the scenery we were surrounded in when we got engaged at the edge of the falls. We’re ready to take the plunge!

  20. avatar brooke @ claremont road reply

I would love a canvas print to show one of our favorite moments from our wedding day last September! We have so many great images but something black & white and candid would likely be our top choice.

  21. avatar Starry-Eyed Barefoot Bride reply

Its not the most unique idea ever, but we would use it to decorate our new home!

  22. avatar Alea reply

I need to cover two tacky 1970s’ speakers that are set in the wall in the front of the church. This would be a perfect way to "camaflouge" this flaw in an otherwise beautiful church. I would use an engagement picture and would be so excited to win one and purchase the other. Having two wedding ceremonies in two different states on the same day (Yes, you read that correctly.), we are trying to save as much as possible. Winning this poster photo would help us save money and solve one of our decorating dilemmas. Thanks, and I hope you pick me!

  23. avatar Stephanie reply

I would blow up a picture of my husband and i from our wedding day in black and white and hang it in our entry way for everyone to see!

  24. avatar NYCDawg reply

I would blow up a beautiful picture of a deep pink/blue/purple sunset. My fiance & I recently decided upon our location – Tensing Pen in Negril, Jamaica. The sunsets there blow your mind & we took some amazing photos of the sun setting while visiting…It would forever remind me of the beauty of where we’ll be getting married and the majesty of the world God has created!

  25. avatar Sebrina S. reply

I would love to have a canvas print of one of our wedding shots to give to my parents. I know they would just love that especially since I’m their only baby…

  26. avatar Sandra reply

My finance and I love to decorate with pictures. In fact, the theme of our wedding is photographs. We have a photobooth, pictures with us and stories from our lives at each table setting, a photograph guest book. We would like to use this to set up or booth where guests can leave advice and tips for a happy marriage.

  27. avatar Anita reply

We haven’t taken engagement pictures yet, but I think a black and white canvas print of one of those would be perfect above our sofa, or on a shelf in the bedroom.

  28. avatar Brittany reply

I would definitely use this to display one of our favorite pictures from the wedding. What an elegant way to remember such an important day!

  29. avatar Emie reply

I would use it at the reception and have our guests sign it! :)Our photographer is planning to take a picture of my fiance and I sitting in a big beautiful tree.I’d either want their to be print on the image or have us holding a sign that reads::"Emie and Pepe sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G.First comes love, then comes marraige…October 18, 2009!"We’re having a very southern, rustic affair and I think this would go perfectly with our theme.

  30. avatar Nicole R. reply

I would use an engagement picture for the canvas print and hang or prop it up against something at the rehersal dinner, reception, and then later hang it over a fireplace in our new home! Something so beautiful needs to be showcased!

  31. avatar Amber reply

I’ve got a great closeup shot of both of our faces before the ceremony… we were both trying to help my dad tie his tie. It’s weddingy without the big white dress and tux. Plus, it reminds me of my family too.

  32. avatar Tara reply

As much as I would like to use this on ourselves, I think given the time of year I would use it to give my mom a canvas of one of her favorite pictures from my bridal portraits. She flew down to Texas from Boston just to be there when I had my pictures done… she said she wanted to enjoy me in my dress before the hustle of the big day. I think she would really love this and it would take her by surprise! On another note, the FI and I have been talking about getting a canvas printed from the wedding because we think they are neat looking. We’ll definitely bookmark this site! Thanks for the opportunity!

  33. avatar Evan reply

I’d use it on my favorite picture from our trip to New York – where I proposed!

  34. avatar Stephanie Flanders reply

I would want to use a great action shot. Maybe of us tearing up the dance floor! A picture that everytime I passed it, I would immediately giggle to myself at how much fun we had! And maybe go grab him for a little living room reenactment! :)

  35. avatar Erika reply

I would use a photo of my husband and I on our wedding day and hang it in our home. Wes has always wanted to have one of our wedding photos in our house but finances have always gotten in the way. This would be a lovely way to make him smile and would be so lovely to look at every day!

  36. avatar haley b reply

I would choose my favorite image of me and my husband from our wedding and display it prominently in our living room because he says there aren’t enough pictures of him in the house…so I would give him the biggest picture in our house instead of the most! :)

  37. avatar Kate reply

I would love a printed canvas to hang above my fireplace.

  38. avatar Sara reply

I would love to do this with a picture of me and my fiance on the top of Laguna de los Tres, a 10 hour hike we did last year in Argentina. He says that it was at that moment that he decided he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. I would love to have the picture at our wedding reception.

  39. avatar Meghan reply

Oh, I love canvas prints!!! My fiance and I just found our first apartment together and we have SO many walls to fill with pictures that mean something to both of us. I would definitely pick our favorite picture from our upcoming wedding to blow up and hang it on a wall to share with our friends and family that come to visit us at our new apartment! :-)

  40. avatar Mollie D reply

I would definitely use an engagement picture, I think over time it wiould be more classic. It would be great to incorporate it onto our guest book table. We are buying our first house together and not moving into it until after the wedding, it would be the first thing I would hang to christen our new home!

  41. avatar Abbie reply

I have totally been trying to find a way to do this! My fiance and I got engaged on a trip to Italy. We had pulled over at the end of a driveway of this incredible winery to take pictures of the beautiful landscape covered with grapevines. I was taking a picture, when he was behind me down on one knee. He said my name, I turned around, and he proposed! I so want to make a large canvas print of the picture I was taking when he proposed to hang in our house!

  42. avatar Carrie H reply

I cannot wait to have my engagement pictures taken. Our 3 year old Boston Terrier will be in some of the photos, and I cannot wait to have new pictures of the 3 of us to decorate our new home that we are shopping for.

  43. avatar Rachael reply

Oh, I love these canvas prints! I have been looking into getting one for a while now. I would love to get our favorite engagement pic of us with our dogs on the porch. I will hang it above the mantle in our new home. So cute!

  44. avatar CourtneyCraver reply

I would love to give one of my brides a canvas print that they could display on their wall! I love my brides and I want them to see how gorgeous they are "blown up!" ;)

  45. avatar Megan W. reply

Instead of using a traditional guest book, my fiance and I are planning on having our guests sign a large canvas-mounted image of our favorite engagement photo. We’re looking forward to displaying it in our new home as a reminder of our wedding day shared with our closest family and friends!

  46. avatar Nora reply

I would use a sexy engagement pic, get it blown up in black and white, and hang it on the wall behind our bed to always remind us of the passion and love we have. :)

  47. avatar Savannah reply

I would love to have my favorite image of my fiance and I put on canvas. We are getting married in 18 days, and I would love to be able to come home from the honeymoon and hang this in our new little quaint house that we love so much. Before we were engaged I went to Nashville to visit my fiance and brother for spring break. My brother, who is a photographer along with my fiance, took us up to a hill as the sun was setting and took a photo of us that is absolutely stunning. We are both just dressed in our regular jeans and t-shirt, it is so us, and the colors popping from the sun setting behind the hills of Tennessee are beautiful.

  48. avatar Elizabeth reply

This would definitely go in our home! What an absolutely gorgeous way to display one of our favorite moments together!

  49. avatar CatisaKitty reply

Such a boring answer but my favorite pic of me and the new hubby on our day!!!

  50. avatar rachel reply

i think, i would wait to print the canvas and wait till my wedding next summer. we are gonna marry in a wonderful botanical garden with old houses. i think the shooting will be fantastic! i would then print the best wedding pic on it and hang it on the wall in the living room, so everybody could enjoy that wonderful print. :)rachel

We are getting married the day after Christmas this year. I would definitely have a canvas made of one of our wedding pictures. Our reception is at the Hotel Bethlehem which is the heart of Christmas city – the place is beautiful with live trees and sparkling poinsettas. I have been in love with Matt since High School and can’t wait to become his wife! Thank you for the wonderful offer and love to all your engaged couples !

  52. avatar Michelle reply

I would print the picture of my grandparent’s wedding that I digitally restored to display at the reception. They have been married for 66 years.

  53. avatar Jessica reply

I’ve been wanting to do one of these for SO LONG! We had our engagement pictures done at the State Fair last fall, there is a particular image of us sitting in front of the ferris wheel that we both love! AND, the colors in the photo are the colors in our house (living/dining/kitchen) I’ve been wanting to liven up our kitchen with it!! We would also PROUDLY display it at our reception :-)

  54. avatar Moll reply

This would be perfect for showing off a wedding picture in our home after the wedding! LOVE the wrapped canvas.

  55. avatar Michelle W. reply

My fiance and I are funny about hanging a huge portrait of just us in our own home. Its rather narcissistic. But we do want to capture our wedding day. We would love to have a photo of our families altogether. Posed in a fine art portrait.

  56. avatar Jenna B reply

Our hearts are filled with love, our kitchen filled with gadgets….but our walls are a blank canvas themselves. This would be a perfect finishing touch to our new home…

  57. avatar Mrs. Smith reply

We have the most gorgeous wedding photo (I am totally in love with it, if you can’t tell!) that I would LOVE to blog up and hang in our apartment. It really looks much more like art than a wedding photo…and I’d love to see it on the wall like a piece of art!

  58. avatar LeRae reply

We’re renovating a house to live in after the wedding. We’ve worked the hardest on our fireplace renovations and have been searching for the perfect thing to hang over our mantle we’ve worked so hard on. I can’t think of anything more perfect than a picture of the day we will begin our lives together!

  59. avatar erin reply

Absolutely would have a candid wedding photo on my wall!

  60. avatar Junage reply

I would love to have a poster of our wedding day to decorate our apartment.

  61. avatar Joy reply

I would use this to print a picture of my beloved and me and give it to my parents. They’d love to have a piece of us in their new house!

  62. avatar Anne reply

I would use the very first picture taken of my fiance and myself. Everytime I look at it, I smile. It was taken three years ago while we were working together. Although it is not the most attractive photo (we are both sunburned and dirty from working outside), it marks the beginning of our lives together. It is something that I will always cherish.

  63. avatar Jessica S. reply

We want our wedding to be a reflection of us as a couple, so we are trying to find ways to add personal details that will tell our story. I believe pictures always tell a timeless tale. And, I think pictures look extremely pretty on a canvas! We would use my Mom’s favorite engagement photo for the reception and after give it to her as a way to thank her for all the time and energy she has put in while helping us during the wedding process. Thanks for wonderful inspiration and a wonderful giveaway. It is always appreciated.

  64. avatar Jen C. reply

We haven’t gotten married yet, but at our reception venue, there is a large grand staircase which will be centered behind our dance floor. I’m hoping to get a picture of all of our guests on these steps to commemorate all of the people we loved that were there to share our special day. That is a picture I’d like to hang in my home in a grand scale. So much love in one image!

  65. avatar kelsey reply

I am currently engaged, and we just took our engagemnt photos, but I think I would save this for our wedding pictures. I would love a picture of us walking away from our reception hand in hand down the street. With the streetlights, me and my goom and my fiance in his tux, I just think it would look gorgeous!

  66. avatar Nellie T reply

I would definitely use an engagement photo to place at our reception. Yay for contests.

  67. avatar Meredith reply

I would pick our favorite candid shot from the wedding day. I would put it somewhere we would see everyday so we could be reminded of the joy of that day.

  68. avatar DJ reply

Our reception is on the 4th floor of an art museum – I would love to have this in the lobby (our engagement pics) with a sign under it to let everyone know to go up to the 4th floor!

  69. avatar Jessica F. reply

We were married in an Antebellum Bed and Breakfast in New Orleans in April. I would totally blow up a candid picture that was taken right after our wedding ceremony when our photographer caught us just sitting on the beautiful antique bed in my bridal suite taking a quick break before the reception began.

  70. avatar Emily reply

I would love a canvas from our wedding that CAPTURES the essence of our LOVE for each other. I want to hang it our house as a daily reminder and to look at each other and thank God for each other. I also want it on display to show our friends and family that our house is warm and full of love. I just want a BEAUTIFUL canvas print that is a beautiful, piece of art that I can look at and it can melt my heart…

Less than five minutes ago, I was walking down the stairs in my townhouse, thinking how wonderful a big picture like this would be right there at the bottom of the stairs. This is exactly what we need to showcase a photo from our upcoming wedding!

  73. avatar Jillian reply

I would use the picture canvas as a keepsake to hang in our house. I would use a picture taken at the wedding. It would be a wonderful reminder of the day of our wedding. The day that two become one!

  74. avatar Hilary Roe reply

I would LOVE to have a canvas of our ENGAGEMENT picture at the rehearsal dinner and reception. As my bridal portraits will be up for everyone to see, I’d love to have an engagement picture including my fiance up so he feels as SPECIAL as I will on our big day. Also, our reception is at an art gallery and they may just let us hang it on the walls by the art, because love truly is an ART.

  75. avatar Dana reply

I can’t wait to have our photos made during our wedding. We are going to a family farm and having portraits made by our photographer. I know they will turn out fabulous, and they would be perfect on a wall in our new home!

My fiance sent me this link to pick a wedding style. I dont know what that means, but I saw this and wanted to have one of our engagement photos done for her, as a suprise.

My fiance and I would love to have the photo of us, when we got engaged, blown up on a canvas to display at the guest book table at our reception. We would surround it with framed photos of our family members on their wedding days, to honor the people that helped us get to where we currently are in life.

  78. avatar Susan reply

The past 2 years my fiance and I have been in a long distance relationship. He recently was able to come home for 10 days during which we had our fabulous and fun engagment session. We started the session at the concert venue where we had our first date. They let us on stage with lighting just like the rockstars! I would love to have a canvas print to showcase this awesome experience at the wedding and forever in our home!

  79. avatar Missalisa reply

I would use one of our engagement photos, which would dual as a decoration at our reception. Our engagement photos turned out awesome – we took them at a vintage aircraft museum. My fiance and I met in an airport gift shop and ended up being on the same flight…definitely destiny playing a part in us meeting. We’ve been having fun tying in our serendipitous meeting into our wedding elements, for instance save the date airport boarding passes, luggage tags as placecards and a set of luggage as the card holder. The canvas poster of one of our engagement photos would be the perfect complement at our wedding reception to tie together our theme. Since most people haven’t seen our engagement photos, this would also be the perfect opportunity to share with them our very special engagement photo shoot!

  80. avatar Cassandra reply

I am in the process of moving into a new office for my event planning firm. We are having canvas prints done of favorite images from past events to grace the walls in the new space. One image in particular that would look awesome as a 16×20 is a room shot from one of my most recent brides, and we filled the room with tall floral arrangements, sapphire pintuck linens, and modern blue and green uplighting. This shot wows people every time they see it, and I can’t wait to see it as a canvas print for the office!

  81. avatar 2babc reply

I would start by sifting through the thousands of digital images of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that my fiance and have taken together over the past 5 and half years to find the perfect one! We both share a passion for photography and the outdoors, and we’ve been talking about how cool it would be to have one of our photos printed large-scale on canvas to hang in our first home together. With our wedding only 11 days away, it would be a wonderful wedding gift to us!

We are so looking forward to our wedding on August 22, 2009 at Cameo Heights Mansion located in Washington State wine country. Our engagement photo session at Chandler Reach Winery – infamous for their "36 Red" vintage truck and wine – was fun and playful! We would love to share our gorgeous engagement photo with "36 Red" at our wedding for all to enjoy. The Southern Weddings blog has inspired us to create a fabulous wedding. Thanks so much – Cheers!

My heart, my soul, my sister got married in March in a beautiful southern wedding in Alabama, where 2 cultures merged. Though I’m not married, I’ve been told love is a journey that starts with romance, then a power struggle, (if you make it, it’s) followed by a mature love and respect for each other. Her love with her husband and their marriage is beautiful, inspirational, patient, kind, growing stronger every day. Knowing that there will be rough days, I want them to have a canvas from her engagement photo session where she is laughing as her then fiance carries her on his back. For those days when they don’t feel like laughing, this canvas would hang directly in front of their bed and serve as a reminder of why they married to each other, the real love they have for each other, so that they can remember the joy of each other & let go of the fear & worry & not go to bed, mad at each other.

  84. avatar Katy M reply

I would love to have a canvas made of the moment when we exchange rings…just a close-up of our hands. I think that exact moment is really special and it would be a great reminder of what our wedding day is really about.

For our wedding next year, I know my parents will want the gamut of traditional photos – this side of the family, that side of the family, etc. I’m more interested in a candid picture of my fiance and I at the wedding/reception, one that captures the "real" us – one showing us having a blast surrounded by friends and family!
