This Friday we have a creative lady to introduce you to. Meet Anna of {Anna Naphtali Photography}. Anna fell in love with Josh and the two were married at The Chavdai House in North Carolina. Their ceremony was designed by the couple with fusions of Jewish tradition, prayer in Spanish, scriptures in German, blessings in Polish and an African-Indian officant.   It must have been a ceremony that was unforgettable! Other unforgettable aspects of this wedding include Anna’s dress.  The talented photographer also designed her dress and then had it created by Kathy Foster of Classic Bride.  The bridesmaids wore dresses hand picked out by Anna at various stores in the {BCBG} section.  The groomsmen wore suites in different shades of grays, whites and browns.  How chic!  Taking care of the beautiful flowers was {Fiore of Davidson}.  Photography by {Wide-Eyed Photo}.  More to come from this stunning wedding!

How did the two of you meet? Tell us your story: I had just moved back to Charlotte after living in Mexico, where I was studying Spanish and break-dancing! I found a group of amazing girls who got together on Wednesdays to learn to break-dance. I went on a trip to New Zealand and when I returned many of my “b-girl” friends were going to a Winter Ball. They were trying to get Josh to go and he said “Maybe, if you can get “that girl” Anna to go.” I normally would never put myself through an awkward night of dancing with a stranger, but having just flown around the world, I had some adventure left in me! We had several months of awkward run-ins, dates and conversations. At first I wasn’t so sure about him, but I soon realized he was worth the risk, and he turned out to be more than my dream!
What was the design inspiration for your wedding? I wanted the wedding to feel whimsical, creative and international. We had vintage furniture holding all the gifts, ribbons hanging from tree limbs, European music wafting through the trees, wine and cheese on every table and a traditional French meal!
Tell us about finding your wedding dress: I had a terrible time finding a wedding dress and the ones I did like were super expensive. So I worked with a seamstress and designed my own dress, inspired by Oscar de la Renta, with my own personal flair.
Describe what was so special about your ceremony: When guests arrived they were greeted with the sounds of “Pink Martini” and Raspberry Lemonade. Everyone had a Polaroid taken as they mingled before they sat down. The wedding party was dressed in a brown, cream and coral color scheme. Everyone walked down the aisle to my favorite French movie soundtrack, “Amelie.” Little children ran out before me ringing bells to announce “the bride coming!” To represent my Jewish heritage I circled my groom 3 times but my dress was caught on his feet! To represent our love for culture, I had a Pastor pray in Spanish, my grandfather read a scripture in German, a family friend blessed us in Polish, and our Pastor is African-Indian!

More to come from Anna + Josh!

Jennie + Cade treated their wedding guests to a fantastic downtown celebration.  The roof top celebration took place at Fort Worth’s {Reata Restaurant}.  We love the cupcake tower and the beautiful shots of Jenni + Cade having a splendid time.  Thanks again to photographer, {Stacy Reeves} for sharing this wedding with us and be sure to check out her post on the wedding on her {Blog}.

What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome while planning your wedding? The guest list.
Were there any special family traditions you included in the wedding? Cade’s uncle, Jim, wrote and performed our ceremony. He included quotes from the New and Old Testament and Kahlil Gibran.
What was your most memorable moment about your wedding day? The “I Do’s!”
Scariest moment? The day before the wedding, Cade’s Uncle, Cade and I went to the Rose Garden for a final viewing of the setting. The wind was blowing so hard that we could not hear one another and a microphone made it worse. Thankfully, the wind died down the next day.
Funniest moment? My aunts and cousins have a tradition that includes breaking into the bride and groom’s room and “wrapping” it for good luck. I’ve been a part of it for every other family wedding, and Cade has been initiated into it as well. Since we knew they would attempt it, we didn’t tell anyone where we were staying, which was at a hotel close to the reception. Nevertheless, after the ceremony and before the reception, they broke into our home to begin the wrapping. Our house alarm was triggered, and while we were taking photos, the alarm company began calling both of us. During the break-in, my aunt unintentionally called my mom and the whole situation was recorded on her voice mail. On the recording, the alarm is sounding, my aunts are screaming, and my cousin yells “Too late! We’re committed now! GO!”. Thankfully, the police did not arrive at our house and my family eventually returned to the reception. I still find rice around our bedroom.
Three adjectives that describe the day are: Wonderful, exciting, perfect!
What advice would you give to someone planning their wedding? Keep it meaningful for the two of you. You can’t make everyone else happy, and don’t get wrapped up in the details to the extent that you can’t enjoy your day. Plan it how you want it, and whatever happens, happens. But at the end of the day if you are married it will be a success.
Best advice or most memorable comment someone made to you during the wedding celebration. “Its an open bar?!?!”
What’s next for you as a couple? What are you looking forward to in the future? Home-improvement projects, work, travel, and being great puppy-parents.
Any DIY items? Cupcakes, Decorations, Wedding Ceremony, Invitations (Parents did them)

How did the two of you meet? Tell us your story. We met in law school at Texas Tech. We knew each other and been friendly for two and a half years, and I was good friends with Cade’s roommates. During our last semester of law school, Cade’s roommate, David, called me to tell me that he thought that Cade liked me (David takes credit for setting us up; Cade insists that he put David up to the phone call). A couple of days later, we were all out celebrating David finishing the Texas Bar Exam and Cade said: “So, when are you going to let me take you to dinner?” Two days later, we went on our first date.
Describe the proposal: After three years of dating, we decided that it was time for our parents to meet. Everyone arrived at our house and we had a few drinks before dinner. Cade and I decided to go to a casual Italian restaurant for dinner, but unbeknownst to me, he had made reservations at a great steak restaurant in Fort Worth. As we were hurrying out of the house to make our reservation, Cade spilled his drink all over his shirt. He needed me to stay and help him find something to wear because he said that all of his other shirts were dirty or at the cleaner’s. Since he didn’t want to lose the reservation, he told me to send everyone else to the restaurant. I thought that was a little bit odd since they had just met, but he assured me that it would not be a problem. Looking back, I should have realized something was up when no one batted an eye about hopping in the car without us. He pulled out a shirt that he’d worn before and needed ironing, so I started ironing it. He put on the newly ironed shirt and walked into the kitchen while I put the iron away. He called for me to come into the kitchen and when I walked into the room he was holding the ring. He asked me to marry him and I said “yes!” and started crying. Then I realized that he never got down on one knee, so I made him ask me again, which he did, and I said “yes!” again.
What attracted me to my husband was: Isn’t it obvious from the photos?
Why do you love your husband? He is wonderful, kind, smart, sweet, complex, fun and handsome. He makes me try to be a better person.
What attracted me to my wife was: She is a smart and determined person. She makes me realize what is important.
The weather on our wedding day was: Cold and windy. We were determined to have an outdoor wedding and thought autumn in Texas would be the best time to do that. Our wedding day was the first cold day of the year. The next day was sunny and 75 degrees.
What was the design inspiration for your wedding? We wanted a simple wedding that everyone could enjoy and that was meaningful to us. We decided not to do something simply but to do it with concentration on family, friends, and the purpose of the ceremony.
Tell us about finding your wedding dress: I knew that I didn’t want a traditional wedding dress. Cade, his sister, Lauren, and I had planned a trip to New York City over the 4th of July. Lauren and I ditched him one day to check out all of the major NYC department stores. We found my dress at Saks Fifth Avenue. I didn’t buy it while we were there. I wanted to come home, think about it, and do the same thing at the Dallas department stores. After unsuccessful searching in Dallas, I called Saks and had it shipped to me.
Describe your wedding flowers: Cade has always been really sweet about bringing me flowers. One day, early in our relationship, he filled up my apartment with stargazer lillies while I was out. The sight and smell of them always makes me think of him and that day, so I knew that’s what I wanted to carry and nothing else. My mom said it couldn’t be done and I would have to mix them with something else. I showed her!! Describe your wedding cake: My sister-in-law, Mary, is a fabulous baker. Since we wanted every element of our wedding to be meaningful, we knew the cake would have more meaning if it was baked by her. Cade loves cupcakes, so we decided to have a   tower instead of a regular cake. Mary worked hard on the cup cakes — first trying out various combination to find the perfect recipe (with lots of taste-testing) and then baking and decorating 200 cupcakes two days before our wedding. They were beautiful, wonderful, and everything that we wanted.
Our favorite detail of the wedding was: The ceremony was performed in the Rose Garden of the Botanical Gardens, in Fort Worth. It is a very beautiful place. Our main concern was whether the roses would be blooming on our day. Throughout the winter we checked the garden to see if the roses had bloomed. Finally, a week before the wedding, the roses bloomed. They lasted through the wedding and created a romantic atmosphere.

More to come from this lovely wedding!

The loans seem to be very useful for people, which want to start their own business. In fact, it’s not very hard to get a car loan.
