Southern Weddings Weekly Round-Up

by in Main on

Happy weekend, friends! Even though it’s only February, we’re already well on our way with Southern Weddings V9–it’s a little crazy to type that number! Over the last month, we’ve welcomed some incredible companies to our sponsor family (interested? Email Marissa!), teamed up with some tremendously talented vendors around the South to partner with on our signature editorial shoots (keep an eye out for our first reader model call on Monday!), and we’ve even accepted a real wedding! It’s not easy to keep all the fun under wraps when November still seems so far away, so rest assured that we’ll be sharing more and more sneak peeks as this issue comes together. Follow along with us on Instagram and Snapchat (swmag) to make sure you don’t miss a thing!

See more from this engagement session by Eric and Jamie on our Facebook page!

In case you missed it this week…

Melissa and John: A unique gown, white bouquets, and colorful confetti in Texas.
Kelly and Dan: Hair flowers, moscow mules, and an ice cream bar in Georgia.
Lauren and John: Classic styling, watercolor details, and boiled peanuts in South Carolina.
Lauren and Tony: A mansion venue, a vintage-inspired gown, and herb details in Oklahoma.

Our blogger bride, Jessica, gave us all the beautiful and delicious details of her cake tasting!
Lisa (that’s me :)) and Dave shared their ten favorite recipes on Southern Newlywed.

Take note!

A sweet team of vendors in Kentucky, including our Blue Ribbon Vendor bridal salon Twirl Lexington, has teamed up to give away a dream wedding to a deserving couple! These folks have huge hearts and a passion for marriage, and we’re already so excited for the couple they choose. Visit their website, The Joyful Day Giveaway, to learn more and enter yourself or someone you know!

Have a wonderful weekend, and congratulations to anyone getting married!
