Shalyn and Drew of Love, The Nelsons are one of the most cutest couples I can think of–they’re sweet, fun, and undeniably hilarious (case in point). Their home tour is one of my all-time favorite Southern Newlywed features, simply because I just love their story and authenticity. When we asked for their favorite thing about marriage, Drew chimed in, and we love what he had to say!
My favorite part is that marriage feels like you’re at a permanent sleepover with your best friend, but better, because there are no curfews, you make the rules together, there’s always great conversation, good food, killer dance parties, and all the cuddles, and I never have to dread my mom picking me up the next day. :) I also find complete joy and extreme gratitude knowing that she vowed to do this life with ME, and gave her heart to ME–out of every guy in the world. It is the greatest honor.
