I just stumbled upon this and I am so impressed. Knowing Cameron personally, he is incredibly talented and so humble. I love his work. I think any of those picture would be perfect on the Southern Weddings Magazine cover! Go Cameron!

by in Main on

Get it? Round-up? Because we’re Southern Weddings?

Anyway, happy Friday from our brand new blog, y’all! We have a ton of new features, including personal blogs for Lara, Emily and Katharine! If you need a new SW orientation, you can check out this post…or keep reading this one because we’ll be rounding up the highlights of this week!

Lara rounded up some inspiring photographs that will fill anyone with warm fuzzies and happiness. Go here to feel the love.

Emily featured an adorable Handmade Find from Potter and Butler. Bonus: There’s a giveaway involved! Head to the original post and leave a comment letting us know which of their items you would prefer to win.

Katharine brought a little bling (okay, a lot of bling) to the blog with her post on engagement rings! Not only do you get to see her favorite celebrity e-rings, but you get to see hers. (Side note: kudos to Katharine for still looking cute when she’s freezing.)

We’re giving away customized couple prints from Swiss Cottage Designs! Again, head to the original post and leave a comment with three words that describe you + your sweetie before midnight on Monday.

But wait, there’s more! We’re also giving away the Lo Boheme piece from Green Wedding Shoes’ V3 photoshoot! Leave a comment on this post to enter!

Lara’s heading off to Watercolor for the Making Things Happen Reunion! But wait, there’s more! MTH 2011 is live! Lara will be heading to Tampa, Charlotte, Atlanta and New York City in January to fire you up. They’re looking for one more city to add to the tour, so go to Lara’s blog and leave a comment letting her know where you want to make things happen.

Before we leave you to celebrate the start of the weekend, we have one more giveaway to send your way! This one is from Lauren Kinsey Photography and Shelby Peaden Events. They’re teaming up to bring wedding-awesome to one lucky couple for their 2011 wedding. Want more details? Of course you do! Take a look at Lauren’s blog or Shelby’s blog.

Happy weekend, all!

I love the Southern meets SoCal photo shoot! My favorite aspect of this photo shoot is the use of the cotton in practically everything… from the tables to the hint of cotton on the gorgeous bridal dress! :) such a chic way to do Southern…both East and West coast!

My favorite part about the Southern Meets SoCal shoot is the clothing & accessories. The photography is amazing as well, but her dress and his outfit is smile-inducing wonderfulness. Not to mention the headband and his tie! Whoever styled this shoot is my new hero :)

I love everything about this shoot! But the dress is breathtakingly beautiful. The pastel bouquet is a close second though!

  11. avatar Sara reply

My favorite detail is definitely the invitation design and drink tags! They’re a subtle cuteness that tie everything in!

My favorite part how the light plays in into these photos. They are such beautiful photos. There outfits are just to die for as well! I love it!

  13. avatar Karlye reply

Aside from the amazing photography as a whole, my favorite details about this photo shoot are the use of cotton and green tomatoes. I love how two things that are so southern and so simple were put together to create such elegant décor. Those details, along with the absolutely stunning dress and enchanting lighting, make for captivating photos that are soft and romantic.

  14. avatar Sharon reply

I love the addition of succulents in the bridal bouquet! So eco-chic and adds an unxpected kind of green!

  15. avatar bella reply

My favorite part of the photo shoot was in the sweetness of the details. The labels on the juice jars like the peach nectar and the “sweet love” flags on the straws were small intricate touches that stood out to me. The invitation and response cards had the same flavor and gave a light peachy lime hint to the stunning white backdrop.
