Weekly Round-Up

by in Main on

Howdy and happy Friday! I’m here to round up another week at Southern Weddings. It’s been one filled with pretty pictures, awesome finds, and if you tuned into our office Christmas party, lots of presents, candy and Christmas finery! A little song for you all…

But take a look at what we wrangled up for the blog this week:

Emily brought even more Southern charm to her blog with her Paper Pick of the Week, YEE-HAW Industries! Emily’s favorites are the giant postcard signs with cute Southern phrases. Perfect as a card or photo prop? Yes, indeed.

You know we love contests and giveaways! A quick rundown of the goods:

Whitney’s love of history also comes with a Bleu Garters giveaway! To celebrate the tradition (and of course receive what we’re giving away!) head to the Bleu Garters shop, pick out your favorite garter and then go here to tell us why you love it and what your dream garter design would be.

We’re giving away color story items from SW V3! The awesomeness is just too much for this post, so go here to see what we’re offering. All you have to do is leave us a comment telling us your favorite feature in V3. Trust me, just looking at the post will make you very happy. Here’s a little preview:

We’ve extended our Mega Photo Contest! It’s just that mega. Send in your fab photos with SW V3 by January 1 to Whitney. We’ll post the finalists on the blog for you to vote on. The winner will receive a $50 ITunes gift card, an ad on the blog, or a Mini Instax camera.

If you’re in the triangle area and you want a break from drinking hot cocoa and wrapping Christmas gifts this weekend (that’s what I’m doing, at least), Tre Bella in Durham is having a big sample sale this Saturday and Sunday. READ: gowns that are 60 to 80 percent off of retail price for designers like Melissa Sweet, Priscilla of Boston, Lela Rose and MORE. Check out Tre Bella’s blog for a preview.

Have a great weekend, y’all!
