Google+ Southern Engagement Party: Miranda + Blake, Part II - Southern Weddings

Southern Weddings

You bet there’s a part two to this post!  We wanted to give you another peek at how a celebrity couple celebrates their engagement (Southern style, of course), starting with the wild, rustic décor.  Caprice Palmer at the Enchanted Florist styled the gorgeous blooms, and we’re dying to taste the bite-sized treats from Shannon Bates at Chef’s MarketNashville Event Lighting set the mood for the tented event, and Nashville Party Authority supplied music and karaoke for the musically-inclined love birds and their guests.  Visit Kristyn Hogan’s blog for more sweet shots of Miranda + Blake!

Of all the wedding gifts you and Blake and received, what’s been your favorite? Our favorite presents were matching flasks and matching shotguns.  We were outside the city limits, so we went right out of the tent and tried them out.  It’s a real shotgun wedding!

Have you made any plans for your upcoming wedding? We’re so busy, so I’m leaving it to the wedding planner.  But any time I have an idea or see something I like, I cut it out or print it out and put it in a folder.  I have a folder, and my mom has one too.

This party just radiates fun and the details are too charming! We especially love those fabulous lanterns. Are those made from twigs? So unique!
