Tomorrow might just be the most exciting day yet in my SW career. That’s right, I said it. Photo shoot with Jeremy Cowart? Photo shoot with Jose Villa? Sorry guys, but you’re small peas compared to the National Stationery Show. (Okay, I’m kidding. Neither Jeremy nor Jose belong in the same paragraph as “small peas.” But you get my point.)
Katharine’s taunts for the last few weeks that I am a “paper nerd” have not deterred me one bit, because I am, in fact, a flag-waving, badge-carrying, convention-attending, grade A paper enthusiast. I am SO excited to meet some of the faces behind my favorite brands, including Atelier Isabey, Hello!Lucky, Linda & Harriett, Rifle Paper Co, Mr. Boddington’s Studio, and Cat Seto!
Readers: any stationery faves you’d particularly like me to scope out? I’ll be tweeting throughout the day tomorrow as well as doing a full recap here on the blog, so be sure to put your votes in now!
Stationers and industry friends: leave a comment if you’d like me to stop by your booth! I can’t wait to discover up and comers and to catch up with other bloggers and editors. I’ll be the one in a blue and white striped dress! (Probably. Unless I go the navy skirt and coral top route. Will let you know when I decide.)
The National Stationery Show is awesome!! I attended a few years ago when I was selling stationery! It is fabulous!! Take lots of pictures and share them with us! I wish I could go! Make sure to stop by Whitney English!!
Stop by the Red Leaf Papers booth #3312 and visit with some of the Invitation Consultants and Red Leaf Papers team! We would love to say hello. Whether you go with the blue and white dress or coral top, definitely wear comfy shoes because you’ll walk your feet off on the convention floor!
Preston Paper! Not sure what booth, but her creations are adorable!
Awesome. Enjoy the show! There are some great newcomers this year. I really loved Regreet in booth 1324. Fantastic idea! Also loved Egg2Cake in booth 1952 – they have a very funny line of product for new moms – Momglish.
Have fun, Emily!
