Friday is the day, folks. Yes, the day that Lara Casey gets auctioned off to benefit Tents in Haiti and CHF International.
Last week we introduced you to Spencer Brodsky, the eighteen-year-old whiz kid responsible for launching the philanthropic mission that has taken Twitter – and the rest of the country – by storm. So moved by Spencer’s energy and commitment to helping the people of Haiti, I ever so generously offered to auction off my boss for one full hour. (Insert polite applause here.) Not sure what you’d do with Lara Casey for an hour? Peruse my list of helpful suggestions here.
If you’re a bride looking for planning tips and design inspiration for your big day or a creative type hoping to get some guidance and a jumpstart on your business plan for 2010, you’ll want a piece of this action. All proceeds will go directly to Spencer and CHF International as they work to provide temporary shelter to the displaced victims of the earthquake.
Bidding has already started (don’t forget to place your bid if you haven’t already!), but we will be hosting a live auction this Friday at 4:00 p.m. EST. And as an added bonus and a thank-you of sorts, the SW girls will be answering any and all of your questions during the live auction, so be sure to tune-in for bidding, banter and office confessions.
Can’t wait to “see” everyone on Friday! In the meantime, place your bids here.
what wonderful things you have going on! i love it!

Beautiful wedding!
