Google+ Print Preview: Watercolor Photoshoot Inspiration, Tabled - Southern Weddings

Southern Weddings

“Tabled” as in “We’re putting together tablescapes!”  When we’re at the gorgeous Watercolor Inn & Resort in just a few short weeks we’ll be shooting three separate tables as well as a Southern-inspired fashion spread and several other color palettes for our November issue:

The first table is a vintage garden party for twelve.  Think old, mix-and-match floral china, lushly petaled garden roses and dahlias, pale pink and blue ribbons floating in the breeze, and gorgeous, swirly calligraphy.

The second tablescape will be set on a wooden dock at the edge of a lake.  There will be nautical flags snapping in the breeze, the soft glow of candlelight from tall lanterns lit up down the center of the table, and a rowboat nearby for a romantic getaway at the end of the night.

The third tablescape will be an intimate sweetheart table for two, set under the lowhanging branches of an old, gnarled tree.  Think loose, earthy arrangments in galvanized buckets and tea tins, mason jar lanterns perched on weathered stumps, and honey jar favors topped off with gingham and dotted fabric.

We’re so excited to be working with this talented lady, as well as him, him, him, and him (our quartet of fab photographers), on this project!  Get ready to follow along with us (Lara, Emily, Katharine & Whitney) on our photoshoot adventure and check back next week for another peek into the pages of our November issue!

P.S. Want to get in on the action?  Know of a great product or source we should incorporate into one of our shoots?  Email whitney {at} iloveswmag {dot} com and let us know!
