Google+ Wanwisa Wednesday: The Butterfly Effect - Southern Weddings

Southern Weddings

Welcome back to another spectacular Wanwisa Wednesday! Be sure to check out her previous posts I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, XVII, XVII, XIX, XX, XXI, XXII, XXIII, XXIV, XXV, XXVI, XXVII, XXVIII, XXIX, XXX, XXXI, XXXII and XXXIII for more fabulous wedding inspiration!

Last week I was inspired by doves and love birds, this week, my inspiration takes flight from a different winged creature…the butterfly. Butterflies are not only colorful and gorgeous to use as motifs but they also suggest a new start which ties in beautifully with the celebration of marriage. Have a look at some delicious ways to incorporate them into your wedding day!

First Row: Adorable favors bags and a unique escort card display created by using butterfly rubber stamps {Martha Stewart Weddings}. Second Row: Sweet and salty treats – a cupcake topped off with pretzel-winged butterflies {Martha Stewart}, a chic place card design, lanterns dressed in colorful butterflies, pretty cocktails decorated with butterfly straws and butterfly-topped petit fours {Martha Stewart Weddings}. Third Row: A luscious cake dressed in pink flowers and butterflies {Brides.com}, a chic hair accessory for flower girls {Brides.com}, and gorgeous red velvet cupcakes in butterfly-lasercut wrappers {Pacific Weddings}. Bottom Row: Butterfly Drift wedding invitation suite by Elum and a sweet parting gift {Brides.com}.

Until next Wednesday! Xoxo, Wanwisa
