Hey y’all! Happy May! Today is a big day here. Kirstin, Laura and I are shipping off to Florida for the month to begin a whirlwind summer of travel. We have some beautiful new faces around here to keep things running while we are gone. I have an amazing new assistant (aka partner in crime who will be joining us in FL for a bit) Whitney and I’d like to introduce Marisa and Meaghan. We can’t wait for you to get to know these lovely ladies over the next months here on the blog.
A few updates: 1. I had an incredible time speaking at the A Bryan Photo Workshop in Birmingham a couple weeks ago. I met some of the most inspiring photographers I’ve ever met and really felt honored to be a part of such a magical experience. Check out the pics on Photogen-inc’s blog and A Bryan Photo’s blog. I’ll be posting my own with a full review soon. 2. We are long-overdue for the SW Blog make-over version 2.0. We have a new web designer on that now… lots of new features coming and some great posts prepared for our launch. 3. The next print edition comes out in the fall of this year and we’ll be doing four issues in 2010. Very exciting for all of us! 4. It’s official- we SOLD OUT of our current issue! Well, according to our distributors there are a few copies floating around out there, but we’ve had to shut off online sales too. We have 3 boxes left and we want to save them for our kids. No, none of us have kids…. but, someday. 5. I just want to say thank you to our readers. We get such sweet emails every day and it really makes our work here fun. I’m just so thrilled that you join us every day to get inspired!
