Describe your wedding cake: We are chocolate lovers so we had to have a decadent chocolate moose cake, which was covered in ivory fondant leaves etched with a faint champagne gold trim.
Our favorite detail of the wedding was: That every detail came out just as I hoped it would!
Three adjectives that describe the day are: Elegant, sensual and chic.
What advice would you give to someone planning their wedding? Leave yourself plenty of time- I needed every moment of my 13 month engagement to source the best vendors and plan the 150-person event. Enjoy the process, and at a minimum, hire a pro to help you manage the 6-weeks leading up to, and through, the wedding weekend. While I planned our wedding on my own for 12 months, I hired Allison Van Every and Lori Hood of Allison Weddings to help me with the last 6 weeks, which was totally invaluable.
